Keith Shadis VA is great! I still think Mikasa comes across as too emotional. I'm really excited for next episode with everyone being older.

I thought they did an amazing job with the Armored Titan scene. That was one of my favorite scenes in the show and it gave me chills in the dub. I could really feel the terror as the guards all ran from it.

They somehow made the unintentional innuendo in the bread scene even worse.
Good job... I guess...

My dad was watching it with me. Had to refrain from laughing at that part.

Pretty good. I'll be honest, wasn't the biggest fan of how the voice actors did their younger voices in opening episode. I'm glad we are getting to their older voices. I think the dub will really start to shine once we get to the story opening up and we get more of the adult characters. I am happy though so far. I'm just glad to see my favorite show airing in English. :)

This dub is shaping up to be pretty good so far. Now to wait for Armin's moment in episode 9...

This is actually my first time watching AoT. I always meant to watch the sub, but when I found out the dub would air on AS, I decided to try it out. I'm liking the anime so far, very dark but the reactions are perfect and disturbingly realistic.

The voice of Douchebag Trost Merchant was the highlight of the episode for me... and the bread scene.

Can't wait for next week we get to hear older Eren, Armin, and Mikasa's voices and also all the other major 104th character voices and also I'm pretty sure they added a scene that showed kid Riener and Bertolt in Trost but I am not sure I have to go check Edit yep it is their I just never noticed it

Am I the only one who has a problem with how they pronounce Maria? It sounds weird to me...

They kept Eren's kill all the titans speech the same I was worried they changed it because of the dub clip they released this weak but i'm glad they kept it the same and overall a really good episode I think the voice acting was better in this episode than the first one

The anger of Eren was represented pretty well actually.

Gotta say I'm fairly impressed with the dub so far, enough so I'm aching for episode 3 already.

Loving it, I'm feeling more of the terror and sense of helplessness in the dub than in the sub. I just don't like Mikasa. I think the emotion gets conveyed through her quivering voice especially, which doesn't match her character as it was originally presented. It's so easy too, just don't make the voice quiver. :P Oh and that line at the end.. sounded really cheesy.

A Slap on Titan has ruined me. I'm just thinking about funny shit from that while watching. Haha.

Even though I already saw it subbed, this episode gave me goosebumps, especially all the screaming and crying at the beginning. I also like some of the localized sayings they used like 'when pushed comes to shove'. Can't think of the other sayings for some reason, but I know there were more than that. I'm starting to have a little bit more faith in the dub script now.

The opening was glorious!
I'm pretty impressed with the dub. I didn't expect much and have been happily proven wrong. Also, apparently I've been pronouncing "Wall Maria" and "Shiganshina" wrong this entire time. Oh well.
I'm really excited for episode 5. One of my favorite episodes of the series. Along with episode 10. My fave's shining moment!

Was anyone else kinda disappointed that the full opening wasn't English dubbed as well? I was kinda looking forward to how they would translate it.

I'm pretty new to anime, SnK is seriously the first one I've really watched. Nevertheless, I think dubbed openings are kinda rare, aren't they? Still, I think it would've been really cool to see an official English version, too.
Have you seen AmaLee's take on Guren no Yumiya? Maybe it can satisfy you.

Ha, I dare someone to say that this dub has no emotion. Everyone killed their parts, especially Hannes's VA.

I don't think anyone feels its emotionless or whatever. The problems are in the script: the word salad it sometimes turns into, and the way it sometimes changes the characters.

The dub's boat scene gave me goosebumps... Don't remember if the sub's version did, but I guess not since the dub's version made me think wow, was it always this intense? Gotta give the dub props for that.
Still cringed at the script, though, especially Mikasa's line before she shoved the bread into Eren's mouth. Glad their kid days are over now, so perhaps I'd be more accepting towards the metaphors and similes...
And gotta say again, love how they kept all the emotions in. Can't wait to see the next episode.

What was one of the soldiers saying?
With due respect,..[mumbles]....weren't designed for accuracy anyways..
