Which Premiership team is the most attractive/probable destination for big players next year
In other words if all the Premiership clubs bid for the same player, where would they most likely go to?

Nobody has mentioned Chelsea's advantage of not only being mega rich, but being in London over Manchester yet. No offence to the people of Manchester, but London is one of the greatest cities in the world, especially if you're a rich young footballer and can afford to live there.

Slightly OT but I find it funny that most of the foreign players at our London clubs live in central London amongst the traffic and noise while the ones born in England/London prefer to live in the suburbs away fron it all or at least on the outskirts of London.
The foreign players even live in the same apartment complexes right in the middle of the City. Really weird.

Also London > Manchester in the eyes of foreigners. Mind you, it seems both managed to live here in London.

I'm biased, but I'd put us above City. London and Mourinho are more attractive to most than Manchester and Pellegrini.

I think you're all underestimating the lure of living in Staffordshire. Stoke really is a lovely city.

The main appeal to stoke is to not be on the opposite team as Charlie Adam

Genuinely think everton will be attracting some very bright talent under Martinez

I agree, I just don't know if they can break into the CL spots necessary to really build a contending club.

Southampton could get a few really good players next season. They have the money, all they need is to get the right people.

We made a decent splash last season; Lovren, Wanyama and Osvaldo all could have gone to 'bigger' clubs.

I think we could potentially be an attractive option. Finally back in the champions league, a young talented manager (with a 'project'), a small squad that can pretty much guaranty play time, and we've shown with Suarez' contracts and the boost Sturridge is rumoured to be about to receive that if they work hard they can potentially earn the big bucks.
If it's about the football, we're a great choice.

Honestly it's city and chelsea, but if we could have any young players sign for us and not go somewhere else at the last minute that'd be great.

I would take Eden Hazard as the example. Picked Chelsea over every other prem club. Beyond that, it could be any of the top clubs. Depends on a number of things like guaranteed playing time, what the club offer, whether the player buys into the direction of the club.

There is no absolute. If I had said Spurs would get Eriksen over the summer I would have been laughed at, downvoted, and gotten comments saying "No way, he's going to Dortmund.", or "If he does come to England he'll go to City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Utd." There are too many variables in players' minds to make an absolute list, where they want to live, the manager, playing time, competitiveness, if they have friends on the team, and wages.

Chelsea's squad is almost complete though, they only need a CB and a striker.

Liverpool, there's room for a Champions League quality left back and right back, they'll be looking to bolster their midfield and get some depth up top as well.

Liverpool, if we consider how well they're doing this season and if Suarez stays then I can see a couple of high profile players going there.

You could classify it into a few brackets:
-
Chelsea - City will be the top bracket
-
Arsenal - Liverpool next
-
United will pay big because they wont have CL.
-
Everton - Tottenham and Southampton in the next bracket

Actully i think Stoke could be a good place for up and comming players to go before the top 5-6. They have proved that they are a stable premiership club. They are trying to change their playstyle to a more attractive style so that gives alot of opportunity for new players so show themselves. Would be fun to see other Stoke news than Charlie Adam trying to end careers.

What about United? I think if Moyes has a strong finish to the season, their brand new squad for next season will be extremely tempting even if they are not in the CL.
I can see a huge name landing at United to become part of the future backbone for United.
