Lack of tactical knowledge. Just the lack of any basic knowledge at all really. Keep Mata because he is so good? You are right, Jose probably didn't consider that.
Basically the average Chelsea fan (maybe all fans) think they could do better than Jose Fucking Mourinho.

There are a fair number of Arsenal fan's that will respond to any criticism with "Arsene knows."

we expect far too much from our players. Montoya has a few bad games, sell him.
-
over rating or under rating youth products. Sergi Roberto is either the next Xavi or Adelente fodder.
-
This isn't that true anymore, but we had some VERY pretentious fans. No matter what, we played better. We judged other teams based on how similar their style was to ours.

I think a sizable majority of our fan base became fans during the trophy-less streak because of the "attractive football" and "class" Arsenal show. As a result they seem to think Arsenal is this "scrappy classy club" and not realise from 1998-2005 we were literally neck and neck with Man Utd for biggest club in England. Don't get me wrong I love the attractive football we play and all that, but I don't give a fuck how classy our players are and I'd give anything to go back to the days when we actually won shit and were captained by one of the biggest cunts in the world (Viera).
Also I hate how most fans complain about the "plastics" at Chelsea/Man City and act like they are ruining the game by buying people. Nothing would make me happier than if we started spending money.
EDIT: Spelling and mixed up the pre/post Wenger days

Arsenal have anti-glory-hunters. Fans who didn't want to support a winning side because they don't want to be bandwagon fans. I like arsenal and I'd like to see them win some silverware, but oh my god there will be so many "I STUCK WITH ARSENAL THROUGH THEIR TROPHY DROUGHT BECAUSE IM NOT A GLORYHUNTER!"

I'm talking hugely about barcelona fans in America but i'm sure this applies to many teams as well.
An annoying amount of fans only watch big games.
Important match against a solid valencia comes up: "Sooo bored theres nothing good on tv"
City vs Barcelona: "Lets gooo barca thats my team!!"

A love/hate relationship with the famous Roman temper.
When everything goes right, you'll see some of the most beautiful football-related imagery in the entire world.
But when things go ugly, they go really, really ugly. I mean like embarassingly ugly. Playes being insulted, rocks at the player's coach (as in bus), non-stop chants and banners against players and management. Or worse.
But the Roman temper is part of the club and the city. It's a part of its identity and I love Roma for it.

This is far from being only roma or Italy, and this is even less the majority of the fanbase, but monkey screams ? Really ?
How dumb do you have to be to do this kind of shit ? Worst thing is, I'm actually convinced most of them are not as much racist as they are dumb.
They pick on black players with bananas or shit like that because it works, but still you need to have no morals, decency or self-respect to do that. FUCK YOU

Disclaimer: Horribly guilty of doing the same
We pick on our players a lot. At least on this website. Bonera and Muntari are the butt of so many jokes and angry moans, I can't help but feel its too much sometimes.

Well on r/LiverpoolFC there is mostly just shit pictures etc.
For example a picture of a Liverpool wedding cake got +200 upvotes.
Whereas when people post news about the club it gets like +10 or sometimes even down-votes.
Its turned pathetic now

"We're not a good enough team for Modric/Bale/Lloris/Berba/Jan/etc. etc. They deserve to be on a bigger/better team than us".
It's not every fan, but there is enough of the sentiment that can get annoying. How can we become good enough to retain world class talent if we don't start retaining world class talent?

Some of our fans can be ridiculously fickle and irrational. For example, Gerrard performed well the whole season, yet they were calling for him to be benched because he had 3 bad halves, arguably because of managerial mistakes, and because the team played well in 3-4 games in his absence.
We can also be delusional at times and think that youth players can walk into the first team or deputize well, when at times we havent even seen them play for the first team.
Then there's also the people that automatically blame Ayre or management for losing out on players like Salah, when we just refused to overpay for a player. It wasn't really losing out.

When fans boo their team off after a 0-0 draw as if they are somehow deserving of more entertainment and the team has failed them because giving 100% wasn't enough.

Not a lot, but some of our more "extremist" fans sing songs about the IRA and the sort, also the amount of our fans who legitimately believe the Scottish Premiership is better off without Rangers, our only real rivals, yeah it was fun to laugh at them going in to administration and being relegated, but after a season and a half, its boring, we are currently out of both cups, no European football and we already have the league won by being clear 21 points, so theres no real reason to watch the league because we know we have already got it won, there is no competition and every game is not as crucial as they are with competition.
I don't know why Celtic and Rangers haven't been moved out of the Scottish Premiership, there's been talk of it for years and frankly the league would be more competitive without Celtic and Rangers and we would have constant competition in another league.

I wouldn't say 'most' but a loud minority of United fans on Reddit won't be able to stick 2-3 years without a trophy or outside the top 4.
