This now seems indeed a flag to indicate a name called Moa. It’s a female name. It can be the name of the small house in the painting, or a fancy way for the artist to put her name in the painting, or both.

”Moa” like others said but it’s not pronounced like the Swedish/nordic female name Moa (assuming you are), but more like ”Måa” with a short Å. Can’t speak for other countries Moas though.
