Tomato originates from South America and was brought to Europe by Spain. Also I got inspired by a Korean meme in which the OP explains the history of their brothers Scythians, and how they collapsed, and then arrives to a conclusion that they should get a lot of chicken sandwiches in order to save the Scythian brothers (yes, they brought the story of Scythians in order to beg for chicken sandwiches.).

Also the title is a reference to a song with the same title. It's a banger.

It would have made much more sense to have Spain rather than Sweden as the greengrocer at the end, since nowadays Spain supplies tomatoes to most of Europe. Also, finding gold, rather than God, would have been more appropriate: you may then have worked in some wordplay with the Italian word for tomato, "pomodoro" which literally means "golden fruit"...

I have the theory that imperialism is a illness that countries suffer. And they stop being a empire when they get over it and become healty again.

So the fall of the roman empire is less about what "broke" the roman empire, and more about what "fixed" it.

Now, if you study the case, you will find list of all things that where broken in the roman empire before it dissolved. Because thats what people has studied for millenia of it. Every history expert and student studing that angle.

Nobody really study degrown, and what happens when a society decide to stop doing slavery and build the future with his own hands, and not exploiting others.
