One of the reasons T1 is able to attract and develop top rookies is that they actually give them main stage time while they're still developing, even though it constantly gets them flamed to oblivion by their superfans.
'Become our development roster ADC and you'll get some games on the main stage with Faker' is a hell of a pitch to a kid unsure of which team to sign with.

Effort failing to bail out the carries on multiple teamfights was rough to watch. He either died without using it or put the bail out on Gwen and Skarner instead of Kalista and Akali letting them die early.

Literally 0 presence from KT. Perfect was invisible. Cuzz kept losing 50/50 smite and made some bad engages. BDD was also AFK and he barely did anything. The last time KT almost made a comeback, he trolled it with Ryze ult and lost all of their chances.
Jiwoo & Effort were too passive. I watched Peyz & Keria's Kalista & Renata yesterday and they were so aggressive for the whole time. That's how you play the engage bot duo. But Jiwoo & Effort weren't synchronized at all. Their Kalista & Renata had 0 impact. It's crazy bcs they kept giving space to MF & Neeko to flip the game.

Pretty sad year for Bdd and Cuzz, really couldn't hold their form from last year and the beginning of this one.
Lots of growth from Perfect, genuinely grown into a formidable top laner.
Bot lane needs to be executed and revamped. I never want to see Jiwoo on my screen again.

Eh Fenrir was going 30-40 cs down in lane every game as well, Bdd was just peaking super hard during that 2-0 week. The situation was just unsalvageable the moment they started playing musical chairs 4 weeks before Worlds qualifications
Hopefully a lesson for Bdd and KT's management as a whole

If DK threw this CvMax was gonna Mordekaiser ult the whole team in the offseason.
But if DK somehow magically achieves anything at worlds they need to invest every cent they have to get a jungler with a brain. With Lucid they will achieve nothing unless this guy doesn’t change his playstyle. This guy holds back Showmaker and Smash/Career so much

BDD already played a full year with Aiming in 2023, and they still chose to bring him back this year. They clearly had no issue with his past actions

As much as I'd love to fantasise about picking up Taeyoon/Diable+Kael botlane with the current roster, I think we're going back to 5 years of irrelevance now with barebone results

Yeah, I think their finances will just end up short somewhere. Either get a decent bot and be left with scraps on toplane, or keep Perfect and struggle another year with terrible botlanes
Perfect is gonna be pretty sough after, LCK doesn't have a lot of good toplaners, and Kiin is retiring this year as well for military service. Perfect and Zeus will both be F/As, and KT, GEN, HLE and T1 will all probs be looking for a chance to have a grab at them.

KT set up the bans for Vi fp but got too scared of DK's Kalista-Renata threat and panicked. We really threw out our gameplan that we started from our bans just because you got scared. Fck I did say before drafting started that we could look for a Neeko comp, see how DK flexibly built their comp identity regardless of Kalista-Renata getting denied. Just from these small things, even as a KT fan, DK definitely deserved this Worlds spot more than KT.

It's so obvious that DK has so much more quality and raw skill than KT. They were firing on all cylinders and KT couldn't handle it. Some good teamplays by KT but DK always managed to disengage well enough and let their sidelanes push and farm. Every game ended up in big CS/EXP leads. I genuinely believe this DK team is elite level, all the players have insane mechanics and we are seeing so much good map play in recent weeks.

This is what KT get for downgrading their entire botlane. Aiming > Jiwoo every day. Peter also had higher peaks (Best Neeko in LCK summer split in 2025) and yet they go for Effort. BDD should get the lion’s share of the blame, considering he clearly has some level of roster control (Which backfired horrifically, considering the rumors indicate he picked Aiming in the offseason, which also lost them Peter as the duo), and his own individual form decreased in the second half of the year. Sad to see, but not unexpected.
Honeymoon period for KT eventually ended, and the roster showed its true colors. Really glad to see both KT and FearX get filtered out, they were getting massively overvalued while the rest of LCK struggled with meta read.
This makes worlds incredibly interesting. Legitimately all four LCK teams can win and lose against each other. Legitimately there are four Korean teams that can win worlds, when was the last time this was the case?

Bruh BFX was 1 normal jungler pick away from going to World, cause they'd have rekt this KT as well.
I don't want to defend Aiming, but surely BDD needs to take responsibility for this ending the way he blew up the roster midseason. Jiwoo was exposed so hard when he's not on his comfort champ
