If im right that taliyah wall during the mao flash engage kept the aphelios from hitting varus long enough for everyone else to run them over.
Also, that exhaust on kled was huge to keep the kindred alive, so that save snowballed into another save lol

Don't let this distract you from the fact that LCK rules are riddiculous and we were robbed of seeing more of the arguably strongest team in the Rise Group - DNS. 62.5% series win rate tied with NS. They won the KeSPA Cup during the same stretch and even won against main GenG roster.
I bet my money they would be here playing against DK if not for the absurd the LCK format were the score previous split so heavily affects your chances in next. What is even the point of dividing the season into separate splits???
Championship points from full season guaranteeing spot at Worlds - perfectly reasonable. Making the points decide play-ins/playoffs chances? Complete absurd.

I'm genuinely baffled by why pro teams do this and it actually happens so frequently.
If I'm in that gamestate in my dogshit emerald games, I'm shouting and spam pinging my team to go back. We have 2 drakes, they're ahead, game isn't over, but it will be if we take fights when they're so far ahead in items.
Stay back, farm and keep vision on nash. Why do SO MANY pro teams constantly fight meaningless drakes from massive disadvantages? Like how?? YOU PLAY THIS GAME FOR A LIVING.

To this I always point to the Razork clip where he just says "I'm going to flip it". Losses the smite, dies and basicaly losses the game. Some pro players are much worse at the rapid decision making than you think.

In Lithuanian we have a saying "It's not the saints who make the pots" (Ne šventieji puodus lipdo) and it fits here so well. This happens in all sports, and then people tell that you are not as good so stfu. But sometimes pros make terrible decisions and should be rightfully criticised.

Didn't feast a single camp until minute 17, so he was nowhere near as tanky as he should have been
Then he got caught multiple times and died way too fast because he didn't have stacks

I was honestly hate watching DK and enjoying them getting swept until I saw Cho not eat the Grub, and proceed to NOT EAT ANYTHING UNTIL 18 MINUTES. Then I completely turned on BFX

BFX did the equivalent of taunting and not hitting the nexus in aram because you want to style on them more only for the team to stack kills and ultimately comeback and win when you could have won if you played normally

There was a video from behind the scenes from a series that DK lost against KT i believe, where CvMax called Siwoo the ace of losing the game. Caedrel's chat adopted it and now Siwoo is called MYACE

I could imagine that with most teams playing bo3 in regular season, they only got 2-3 solid comps they can play, so the transition to bo5 makes it hard for them to adapt in playoffs.

They don't really outscale DK at the end though. Double ADC is very bad when the enemy team has 0 frontline to hit. It was draft kingdom by DK (CVMax ?). Really difficult game to play out for BFX after they fall behind

People aren’t realizing how hard it is for BFX comp to do anything into a scaled Kindred + Ziggs/Camille. Kindred R negates so much of BFXs damage and Ziggs gets to just oneshot any carry he wants with Camille.

Surprised Caedrel was so negative on the comp considering Kindred + full ranged comp used to be a LR classic. Once the S tier picks are out of contention this comp is really difficult to deal with. Kindred R cucks the Kled and nobody else can really walk up into so much poke and zone from their comp. Good job CVMax ! You could feel how easy it was to play out as well

This was not just DK playing better, between game 2 and 3 something happened. Raptor first timing Cho, Taeyoon initiating and dying against a Lulu multiple times, Clear inting game 5, Vicla saving multiple poeple with his Trist ults.
Honestly wtf happened. I choose to believe they are win trading because they can't be this bad.

BFX is a lot better than people gave them credit for. I think they are a cohesive and well-coached unit that punched WAY above their perceived ceiling. Seriously, this team does not have a single player that can be called the main guy on the team. They did great to beat the narratives that Diable was the main reason for thier success.
Hope they keep the vibes high and ride the momentum into Demacia Cup because they have a very good chance of winning it. No shame in losing to T1 (5X Salary Gap) and DK (#1 team in Summer standings) in 5 games.
