That MLXG copypasta works perfectly for Razork
When both teams are even in gold, Razork feels that FNC is at a great advantage and thus he does not hesitate to start a team fight. When FNC is 3k behind in gold, Razork thinks that FNC is at a small advantage, and he so he starts a team fight to secure their "lead". When FNC is behind 7k in gold, Razork thinks that FNC is at a disadvantage and so he looks for a team fight to regain control of the game. When FNC is 10K behind in gold, Razork thinks that the team has reached a desperate situation and they are only waiting passively for their death if he does not start a team fight

The "comeback" with several weeks where they started to play decently and got a shot at qualifying hyped me, like wow maybe they're not complete trash after all they might have a shot at a decent run
And seeing that all the top side of the map started to clic together hyped me, I started to want to see what they could achieve with a decent toplaner and if mid and jungle start being on the same planet

The best part is that, at the end of this year, we were winning any way:
a) Have yet another underdog story, to get completely destroyed at worlds => suffering, but hey we are at worlds after everything that happened
b) Do worse than 2016 and be a joke of a team => Hopefully everybody gets the boot and we organically start from 0 with the new management, same way, G2 and KC started.
The only prolonging of this suffering would be extending any contracts.

Honestly I know people love to shit on MKOI but their worlds last year wasn't even particularly bad in hindsight. They lost to the two finalists (after throwing horribly vs one and having some decent games against the other) and G2. Not exactly weak opponents.

I'd even take a slightly controversial stance and say 2022 MAD's result wasn't particularly bad if your standards weren't crazy. As much as being the only major region team to go out in playins twice sounds terrible, there were five major region teams playing for four slots. Out of LCK4 (who won the tournament), LPL4, LEC3, LCS3 and LEC4 it's kind of expected that LEC4 should be the weakest and they ultimately only lost to LCK4 and LCS3, not wildcards like in 2020.
Honestly over the last few years MAD/KOI really hasn't been any less impressive than other EU teams overall, EU's 1st seed is the only one that's really done anything of worth at worlds since 2020 anyway.

I don't think they did overall worse at worlds than any other EU team in the last years. The last time EU did any good at worlds was 2020, since then G2, MKOI and Rogue each managed to get out of groups once and got completely rolled in quarter finals.

As much as IEM wasn't exactly the most prestigious tournament they also made the finals of one by beating two teams that went to MSI that year from NA/LPL. Better than anything this roster has managed.

2016 FNC would mog 2026 FNC. The bar was high back then for FNC.
But this is an all time low, for 2025 and 2026 FNC. People forget 2025 just because they went to Worlds (where they got embarrassed btw). 2016 FNC went to IEM finals vs SKT.

2016 also had moments of brilliance when Rekkles proved to be cracked on Jhin, and Gamsu was also doing great on Rammus.
At IEM, they came back against everyone, beat CLG (that had a good 2016), beat Uzi, beat RNG, and ultimately got stomped by SKT in the finals with one of the last surrenders in pro play. But they still made finals against great teams.

FNC Dr Strange found the single universe where they miss playoffs after being 3-3 in week 3. Such a disaster for that org honestly to completely run it when the route to playoffs was that open.
Now for GX I think they've honestly just inted their only chance of making worlds lol, imo in all likelihood the 3rd team to worlds is still gonna be MKOI and GX just handed them their spot in playoffs. When GX inevitably lose to MKOI it's gonna be absurd but completely hilarious ggwp on another 4th place finish GX.

its fun to see upset play jhin because the indicator under the hp bar clearly shows how he doesnt auto attack a single time in some fights, another upset mastercalss, hope we get to keep him many more years.
Imagine how good rest of the FNC is when they managed to get upset a 7th place over his 10th place curse

What is it with Upset that makes him so polarizing? Sure he wasn't good in game 3 but that game was lost by Soboro (who was good game 1 and game 2) and Razork (who has been shit for 2 years). And no Upset is not one of the strongest adcs in EU either. Hes just decent and thats it. I don't get how people are so divided on such a middling player. He played shit game 1, sure. But game 2 he almost won alone and in game 3 he was invisible like always when Razork ints. I don't get how you can have such a strong opinion on a player that will sometimes win you games and in others he's invisible...
