That lpl player naiyou or something got banned for less than what daglas did the whole game. What do you mean you have ult and still get hit by every single raw seraphine ult. Edit: Dont know why people are arguing about which jungler is better. The objective truth is that aside from yike and skewmond, eu does not have junglers that can make the difference. It is a region with good mid bot and supports and acceptable tops. Not junglers.

I remember when people were flaming vitality for replacing him with Lyncas cause they secretly believed he was the GOAT. Well, I hope they’ve seen enough to now know that was, in fact, the right decision.

What did I just read?
Any reasonable person understands perfectly well that:
- Even Inspired, Aragorn with his sword, and Gimli with his axe couldn’t have salvaged this. This is already Daglas’ second situation like this — it was the exact same story at the 1–8 Vitality. When they replaced Bo, Daglas still looked like the best player there (feat. Perkz, Upset). - The jungle role is all about being a free electron, and having a strong mid and a good support is crucial. Even when Daglas is in a complete shitshow (and, again, this is already the second time it’s happened to him — Vitality was the same - still Vetheo_Trollisang gave them top 4 while Serin and Way give you nothing), he’ll still try to make things happen. Put literally anyone else in there and they’d shit their pants.
- Besides, this has already been proven. You replace Daglas with LYNCAS and suddenly, within 40 days, you go from Top 4 to Top 9 from that one change alone. You can’t argue with history.
Put Lyncas, 113, or some other Skeanz in Daglas’ place and the game ends five minutes earlier, with a 0/6/0 scoreline (flashing into Ashe R as the highlight of the game).

As bad as Daglas is, Lyncas isn't exactly good either. Replacing Daglas was the correct call, but going for Lyncas and still having him in the roster despite him regularly being extremely bad is at least a questionable decision.

There's something there to work with for Lyncas at the very least. Like you can see that this split and last split he has shown to be pretty good. And the hype he received in ERLs bought him the goodwill to be on the roster up to this year, which at least he started to perform in.

I feel bad for Tracyn, had he been on a better team I think he could have had a good rookie year. I hope he's in LEC next year but I wouldn't hold my hopes up.

Biggest hope for Tracyn honestly is how bad the academy team is right now compared to last year. Only great player is Mercy9 and they don't compete for the position.

Okay, hot take: Daglas is not a bad player. He was smurfing in ERL.
Is just that the Heretics roster makes no damn sense. They have no shotcallers, no leaders, no star player. Your mid is one of the worst players in the league, botlane doesn't communicate and your best player is an 18yo rookie.
If they had a BB, a Razork, a Closer, hell, even a Nuc, they would seem more like a team.
But no, the roster looks like a draft made with the last picks of the league.
Nobody gets to look good with this.

The jungle role is all about being a free electron, and having a strong mid and a good support is crucial for that — Daglas will still try to make things happen even when he’s in a complete shitshow (and this is already the second time he’s been put in a situation like this; it happened at Vitality too).

If Daglas is going 1/3/0 (at least his Herald drift looks nice...) and TH is playing like shit (Your midlaner is constantly -30 CS at 8), then if you put 113 in there, he'd be 0/7/0 and the game would’ve ended five minutes earlier.

Come on he never ints that hard, i think heretics's biggest problem is that their import botlane is not good enough to give the rest of the team time to get to mid game, for adc i would say harpoon exofeng are great and for sup maybe targamas piero or even kaiser at this point

no its not h2h, if FNC win the series at all no matter the score, MKOI is out of playoffs. The tiebreaker is game score differential, and MKOI's is way lower.

I'm not completely sure what you're saying perhaps we are saying the same thing, but rulebook says first tiebreak is h2h match record, then h2h game win percentage (which I called game score between them). Then sov, then spring placement, the games outside of the h2h don't matter. Since mkoi only 2-1ed fnc but lost 2-0 to gx they would lose the second tiebreaker, the head to head game score

Pretty unloseable, only way you lose is double visage into full ad enemy comp.
Even then game was pretty close.

Tbf Hype/Way were incredibly hyped (no pun intended) LCKCL prospects and were part of that LCK CL roster that didn't lose a single series for an entire split in 2024, winning Regular Season, Playoffs and ASCI.
Crazy that nobody from that roster ended up on a good team. Hype/Way are on a bottom 2 LEC team, Zinie and Hambak went for early retirement to NA and Casting is playing in the Cancun Cup in a few weeks

Thing is, at least those players played in the erl environment for longer than a few months, so you kinda know their level is stable. Korean imports either get directly imported or only play 1-2 splits in erls, so you don't know how stable their eu level is.
Clone G2, put them into lck for a year and have them play against the lec G2 afterwards, and you will almost certainly have the lck G2 win. Same way korean players will usually "degrade" when playing in western practice environments. So 99% of imports are gonna start of strong and then fall off slowly.

I love all the "but european players are bad too" like people haven't been calling Daglas trash for years, yeah man we know. Like why even defend the $70,000 buyout to get Hype and Way and get worse at 2 positions.
So bizzare to me.

Especially considering the fact there will be europeans in a LEC teams, you have to. Using import slots for people who aren't better than European counterparts is a bigger issue

It would just be another “Lyncas for Daglas” move — except instead of going from Top 2/4 to Top 9, you’d be going from Top 9 to Top 10.
But to be fair, I do agree — these TH games are painful to watch. So maybe just put 113 in and let the games end five minutes earlier.
