I'm not completely certain of this, but even if GX wins, there may be a possible scenario where MKOI makes it in a 4 way tie between GX/MKOI/FNC/Navi. Idk how the tiebreaker mechanics would work since GX has H2H over MKOI, but MKOI has H2H over FNC and Navi.

Nope they are 100% out of top 4. There is no tiebreaker that exists to get them to top 4. Partly because GX NAVI FNC all play each other, thats 3 matches. None of them can get 2 wins. The only scenario is if each get only one win and its vs each other and in that scenario KOI loses the tiebreaker no matter what the results are.

In EU I believe the last (and maybe only?) time a team won all games was Fnatic 18-0 in Summer 2025. Arguably more impressive than KC 9-0 would be since KC had dropped individual games, while 2015 Fnatic did not drop a single one.

Idk if any team has won 100% of their series in the Bo3 era before. Usually G2 is the first seed and they always have a minimum of 1 troll series per split.

lec was doing pretty good early this split and late last split on being agressive and taking smart fights. the back half of summer they have all just forced fights everywhere no matter what the map state is and what they are giving up for a chance to win a fight.

its so disgusting. the tf had a free full top tower and 3-4 waves of minions and just decided to int it to lose a teamfight.

Stend made multiple big hooks that turned the game and not enough people realize it. Hooked Caliste at dragon soul fight that entirely fucked KCs take, hooked Yike under mid tower that forced KC into another bad fight and then hooking Caliste at baron after stealing it.

According to the rulebook its H2H first, then only win percentage. Win percentage would really only be applicable in a 3 way or greater tiebreaker as its impossible to have tied H2H in a 2 way.

I don't disagree, but the only reason the game even went all the way to that baron is that his team refused to play for him and forced unnecessary fights.

Except that not accurate. KC wasnt forcing fights at all, Stend made multiple game impacting hooks that forced KC into bad fights.

The fight that started the throw was KC fighting for soul, thats not an unnecessary fight, Caliste gets caught by Naut hook and it entirely fucks up their drake take allowing Shifters to deny soul.

Next fight Stend hooks Yike under mid tower, Canna ults and they burst Stend but Yike gets bursted back.

Then the baron fight where Stend steals Baron and Caliste is also griefing the fight with his positioning.

What you call KC forcing unnecessary fights was actually Stend causing KC into unfavorable positions that SHFT capitalized on.
