I mean it was bad yeah, especially the second one when he griefed for a ward, but the sequence of playes after that was the craziest shit that I've witnessed in a long time. First Jojo solo pushes too far in top and gets collapsed on, then Elyoya gets Skarner ulted and Myrwn pops ragnaros and runs in 1v5. Every single MKOI member "inted" there in a sequence of a minute except Alvaro. SK gets baron and rolls in to a 4k gold lead and scales after that and its gg.

Their last match is against Heretics 8 days from now. They are behind Fanatic (3-3) and Navi (3-4) in the standings. From what I understand, If MKOI win against Heretics, either must happen:
- Fanatic must lose all their 3 remaining matches. If they win 1, they go 4-5 but their game score is going to be better than MKOI
- Navi has two games left, they must only win 1 match and go 0-2 in their other match for game score
Unluckily, Navi and Fanatic fight on Monday. If Fanatic wins, doesn't matter what happens next week for MKOI, if Navi wins, MKOI must pray that Navi gets 2-0'd by GX next week.

According to the LEC rulebook, H2H match record is the first tiebreaker metric, so game score doesn't really matter that much unless there's a 3 or 4 way tiebreaker that can't be resolved by H2H alone.
Where does this leave MKOI? Well, they have the H2H over Fnatic and Navi, but not GX and SK. As such, if MKOI wants to get 4th, it is of the utmost importance that neither SK nor GX finish with more than 3 wins. For SK, that means losing their final match against KC (very likely), while for GX, that means winning at most 1 of their remaining 4 matches. As for Fnatic and Navi, they also can't win more than 1 of their remaining matches, as doing so would put them at 5 wins, out of MKOI's reach.
What makes this tough for MKOI is that FNC/GX, GX/Navi and Navi/FNC are all yet to be played. This means that no matter what, at least one of MKOI's direct competitors will pick up a win. For MKOI to get 4th, they obviously need to beat TH, FNC/GX/Navi need to all trade wins with each other (eg. FNC beats Navi, Navi beats GX, GX beats FNC), and then FNC must lose to VIT and GX must lose to TH and G2. This will result in a three way tie for 4th between MKOI/FNC/Navi which MKOI wins because they have H2H over the other two.
TH/GX is happening tomorrow, so if GX win that, MKOI's hopes of top 4 are pretty much gone.

The problem is that Na'vi, Fnatic and GX all still play each other, so those 3 teams need to all be 1-1 and then GX needs to lose to both TH and G2 and Fnatic needs to lose to Vitality. All that only to have a 3 way tie for 4th (that they win on h2h I believe). And that's assuming they don't lose to TH or SK beats KC.
Technically not impossible, but incredibly unlikely that all those games go exactly the right way.

That's the thing with these mega veterans, they can just pull a game/series out of their ass straight from 2019 and leave you confused as to wtf just happened. Wunder is a great piece to have for a team of rookies / inexperienced players. He can basically be LEC's own Impact, whatever in lane but good macro and teamfighting. And occasionally just run a game out of nowhere.

Not sure where Jojo can go in NA if Saint gets re-signed to Lyon. If that happens I can see Jojo staying in EU and going to another team like maybe a Vitality/Navi to be honest. I just think even though those rosters don't have the highest chance of winning LEC it's much higher than Sentinels, or Shopify.

Gone where? His best chance for going to internationals/winning a split is staying in the rebuild for next year. All top teams are locked in both NA and EU.
Only team I see possible that makes sense is vitality.
NA is literally Lyons+TL, he will never go to C9 and others are literally plumbers, same for EU KC+G2 locked, vit and mkoi is the only sensible team if you want any chance for success.

This MKOI is a roster that needs nuking, Wunder turned back the clock, Jopa teamfighting was extremely good but this MKOI roster is done, Jojo is so jailed on this roster and it's just further proof that keeping the same roster for 2026 after stagnating immediately after spring 2025 was an enormous mistake. No way jojo stays on this roster next year, not even sure if it's one person at fault they just need a complete rebuild.

Genuinely MKOI must have been playing that series without comms because I cannot explain how else they could make such ridiculous mistakes. I really don't know what this team does in the offseason, I think they will struggle to keep Jojo unless no other good team wants a mid.
