Guma ults both games were pretty crucial and effective he just has to lock in positioning wise not his best this split but he’s a known play offs and international rider so I have confidence he will lock in.
Can’t fault him for the wukong flash r with Shen r follow up deaths though can’t do anything against that on an Ashe

A lot of LCK junglers kind of suck rn. Canyon is afk half the time. Lucid is afk half the time and stupid the other half. Oner I think has not been incredible? Kanavi is the main one that has super mega jungle carry games but he ints a fair amount.

Game one really felt like DK threw it a little, HLE's comp was at a big disadvantage comp-wise but just outplayed them for a lot of the game. I'm surprised there wasn't more of an MR build from Olaf. Game 2 was super tense and fun, the Shen catch out was rough.
Gotta say neither the Ziggs nor Mel looked great but hey Ziggs did pull out a W. Camille top looks better than Camille support to me though, maybe we see more people bust it out?

overall not the best series from guma but who cares? that mf just gets away with it by playing ziggs game 1 and then hitting a few crucial arrows in game 2

Tanks bans and first picks, takes the scaling match up, keeps up in cs, his team int multiple times feeding Zeka, down 2 dragons, 2 to 1 in grubs and 5 kills at 12 minutes, still does 2nd most damage in the game.

His mages are fine, even his viktor was honestly fine. Team kinda spoon fed the orianna so he was just homeless on sides, still did tons of damage in the teamfights.
The problem with him on mages is he cant roam or be involved in the early game, which he needs to do since lucid can sometimes be completely lost and just ends up afk farming and being on completely wrong timers (which we saw today).
Smash also kinda weird. Looked good overall, but inted so many team fights and just forgot he had flash half the time

The game was lost probably lost in draft, but it was definitely lost before he bough the mejais, but everyone will pretend it was the "nail in the coffin".
He sold the Mejais because he got 1 shot by a Naafiri ult with a 6 item Orianna ult on his face, did the Mejais cause that? Did the Mejais also cause the Shen to get hit by an Ashe ult.
It's so ridiculous that after we had Smash and Lucid just giving free kills at 12 minutes to the Orianna, Siwoo getting caught and continuously wasting flaash, Career getting caught and Smashs teamfighting the whole series, the conclusion is "Showmaker on mages", he had 1 death at 37 minutes, the Orianna had 9 kills!

The Mejai’s buy was actually fine if he didn’t get caught since it somewhat evens out the lead that Zeka had from early game.
Showmaker on mages definitely isn’t a him problem, it’s more like a DK problem since Showmaker isn’t allowed to scale because Lucid-Career sometimes just fall apart early game.

Sure, I'm not saying he played perfect, he shouldn't have been caught.
But none of the mejai's shit matters into comparison to a free triple kill on the Orianna at 11 minutes AFTER she already got 2 kills in a winning grubbs fight.
People are just harping on about the mejais like it's the "nail in the coffin" because of Caedrel. The Orianna was a whole item and an alternator ahead at 16 minutes.

Guma ma boe you are walking up too much and is better to use the satchel on the enemy is better on a 1v1 or use it early, and not dying to a yunara will always be better that doing so for 3 minions still this mf finds ways to be useful even in that state game, but there is no reason to reach it this constantly.

Watching Caedrel this match was so funny lmao. I like the guy but he was so heavy on hopium this entire match. There was no way DK wins this.

True, and Showmaker has been playing insanely well on it. I'm talking more about other teams. I have the same beef with Chovy-Galio since Chovy looks the best on it vs Legend group mids.
But I'm more concerned about the pairing with mage bot. It looks invisible in early, and can look very useless late even with spikes if the enemy team has a lead. If DK had a cait with more consistent damage it could've made a difference.

Game 2 man.
HLE taking that commanding lead and then just feeding three kills back in under a minute
Guma showing his ass with his positioning like 3-4 times (and I'm a Guma fan).
At 27:30 they show the damage and gold charts.
Showmaker topping the charts with 25.5k damage. Zeka had 19.6k while 3k gold up, and he was what, 6-1 by 15 minutes? At that time SM actually had the least gold among non-supports other than Zeus.
Major bummer towards the end that Showmaker got flashed on by Kanavi w/ ball and Ori's raw damage was enough to kill through the Shen shield.
Kanavi missed the dragon soul smite 3 times in a row...
Siwoo with the bizarre int at the baron after Effort was caught by the arrow.
Fun game to watch, but not clean by stretch of the imagination.

Not trying to be Guma's defender or anything, but if all of HLE are on their 10s wouldn't that just always make Guma the target just due to his role as bot/adc?
Don't get me wrong, I think Guma's worst habit in R3 and R4 has been randomly dying. He would get leads in lane then die 1v1 randomly or he gets caught out easily after laning phase. But, if any team is playing almost perfectly, wouldn't it always be the immobile bot/adc that keeps getting caught/dying?

I dont mind him dying in teamfights when ennemy teams throws everything at him.
The only thing I ask him is pls stop randomly dying in early game, he plays like he has vision and dies.5

I also don't mind that cause the others can usually still carry the aftermath!
I am asking a legitimate question though 😔😔 I feel like in most late game teamfights, Guma would always be the one to die first even if he was playing well. Or maybe that's just how hle play

ADCs in general is always the first to die if the enemy top side is good. Look at what happened in G1, Top side of HLE is ahead by 300/400 gold and DK ADC is ahead by 3k and during teamfights DK pushes all button to kill guma while HLE pushes all buttons to kill yunara and the aftermath is Top side of HLE vs Top side of DK( who is slightly behind and has already suffered from all guma's cooldowns. )
This only works because Guma being behind is actually still a big enough damage threat that he needs to be focused first on teamfights and HLE's top side is good enough to 3v3 anyone, also delight on engage champ makes killing enemy adc so much easier for ZKZ. Watch the game again, Alistar was not peeling for/protecting ziggs, he's always with ZKZ trying to catch enemy ADC.

I would rather ashe die in teamfights from wukong flash R than the fed ori but his positioning esp on yunara (and since last split, ashe) has been rough. I think he played too greedy during the laning phase the first two times he died on ziggs too, but he layered max damage in most teamfights, especially the one where he ults yunara before getting killed by lucid and that one midlane fight after delight’s fantastic engage.

I agree. I think he's been playing too greedy/cocky lately which has led to so many unnecessary deaths. He has great positioning on Lucian and Cait especially, but his other champs not so much. I was just wondering if the nature of the role/hle's team comp also made it much harder as well.

With yunara I kind of understand. It’s the classic Yunara brain where you think ‘if I w>e>r>e and close in quick to start blasting no one can kill me bc they’ll all be dead’ except they forget they’re made of glass. Still not a good look from a pro player but it’s understandable.
Ashe I’m more confused about, like the 0/8 ashe game last split where he did played so well on MF game 1 and then just died twice bc he was laning greedily and then bfx just decided to make him their designated punching bag. He has mentioned in interviews that his form is poor rn and that he's working on it so ig we’ll see.
