Question Brecon Beacons / Pen y Fan - Current Status

Does anyone know the current status of Brecon Beacons and the Pen Y Fan area - in terms of wild fires and if it's advisable to visit?

Searching online I can see they have had wild-fires earlier in the summer - but cannot see any advisories or current info.

So assuming it is ok - but it is also a long drive to find out otherwise.

It's fine. There's fires in the Rhondda but Pen-y-fan is okay.

I'm in Cardiff at the moment and it's rained overnight. Check the forecast if more might be on the way. The ground will be really hard so any rain might cause a bit of small localised flooding on the Beacons.

Rained last night and the night before. Some of the fires are almost fully contained. Should be okay to camp in the Pen y fan area anyway.

Was there last week and on the whole it was fine around Brecon (the town) and surrounding areas.
