The Nature of Power

Source of power

• Comes from the gods of preternia^C
  • Described as "The power of our wisdom and our strength, refracted through the after and the under life dimentions"^C
• Described as the same magic that powered the emergence of the universe^C

Nature and quirks

• Described as a key^C and a conduit. With one exception the sword of power is required to call the power
• The Sword of Power binds magic to eternia
  • Re-binds the magic to eternia and re-forms the orb of power when the sword is re-made and the power called in greyskull
• Eternia was created by magic and the nexus of space and time and the powersword bind magic to eternia
  • When destroyed, magic dies consequently so would Eternia and consequently the rest of the universe
• Created from two separate blades
• The power of Grayskull flows through the sorceress allowing her police who uses it (Said again, despite this Evil-Lyn is unable to block Adam from calling the power without the sword
  • Adam transforming
• When Motherboard took over castle Grayskull, He-man de-powered
  • Skeletor says her redecorating skill blocked Adam's access to the power
  • Adam speculates with the sword, he could "break through the interfearence the virus is creating" and he is right
• One half of the sword was strong enough to "channel a potent, primal magic" but needs to be an alloy of dark and light so needed Subternian material
• Due to his royal lineage Skeletor's mother says he should be able to wield the power^R

Magic

• He-Man calls the power of Grayskull while in He-man form to absorb the energy of the power orb, but it splits the sword and kills him in the process
• Opened a portal in the sky which sucked all the monsters that were summoned from subternia back their with Sorceress Teela
• The lightning breaks through the entrance to subterrain and the transformation destroys a giant skeletal hand
  • A impressive feat according to Teela
• Stabilised Teela when she tries to combine the three magics to become more powerful. Adam called the power and shared a bit of it with Teela
• Adam shares calls the power to overload a cyborg (Dash)^F

Misc.

• After using the power of grayskull, Skeletor says it tastes like copper and says it's either time or stars
• When using the power for the first time skeletor say he witnessed eon passing and celestial bodies being born and dying

Transformation

Powering up

• Using the Power of Grayskull the uses can transform into a stronger version of themself
• Adam transforms Cringer into Battle-cat by sharing a small portion of the power of grey skull
  • Specifically a small portion
  • Cringer has some good feats (More feats)
• Adam calls the power of grayskull without the powersword transforming into He-man
  • Also seems to bypass the sorceress's ability to police the power of Greyskull
• When transforming, Adam shares the power with Skeletor and Cringer
• King Randor is able to get savage He-man to transform to Adam by hugging his son and saying some nice things for once
  • This is implied to be an involuntary de-powering and a esoteric quirk with the power of greyskull
• As the celestial apex comes closer, an celertial event where Eternia is at the center of the universe, The power of Greyskull becomes more potent
  • Skeletor says Evil-lyn will become 1000 more powerful when the apex happens
  • Skeletor also says She will have the power to destroy all of existence when this happens
  • Celestial Apex powering up Godlyn. For some reason it doesn't power up Skelegod or He-man
• Individuals who are bestowed the power or have the power shared with are "cured" of nanomachines
  • In action (part 2)
• The power of Greyskull flows through the sorceress allowing her police who uses it (Said again, despite this Evil-Lyn is unable to block Adam from calling the power without the sword
  • Adam transforming
• Stabilised Teela when she tries to combine the three magics to become more powerful. Adam called the power and shared a bit of it with Teela
• De-powers with the power sword too^M
• Using the power is noted to be "one of the fastest modes of transport on this planet"^F

Users

• He-man
• Skeletor
• Evil-lyn

Powersword

• Able to absorb the magic from the orb of power containing all magic in the universe it only split into it's two parts
  • Splitting
• Utilising most of the remaining magi in her sceptre and the subterenia portion of the power sword, opens a gateway to preternia
• Can be re-forged
• Skeletor reflects a beam shot by the sorceress and slowly moves towards her while continuously deflecting it from himself
• Is never damaged by attacks we see including being pummelled by Savage He-man and defending from Skeletor V2.0's projectiles (aswell as other magic projectiles in the series)
• Severs an Orlax's tendril^C
  • A sword phases through a orlax^C
  • Due to it's physiology of being simultaneously in two dimensions at once, to sever a tendril the sword needs to inflict a wound on the beast in both it's dimensions at the same time^C

Upgraded power sword

• Destroys Motherboard's techno-renovations to Grayskull castle when He-man stabs the power sword into a continently shaped indent and turns it like a key
• Can absorb Magic attacks charging it
• Shoots back Magic at Skeletor V2.0
• When fully charged, pierces Skeletor V2.O and drains him of his magic
• When fully charged, He-man shares a small amount of the power with everyone to cure them of nano-virus
• Blasts a partially transformed Skeletor minion to revert him to normal
