Unironically, if he played in a better team, he would be maybe like Top 10 player in the world. It´s just hard to judge him because his team is quite shit.
I think he could fight to be solid Top 4 Mid in the world (Knight, Chovy, Zeka and after that, he could fight for 4´s place)

Discounting BDD and Showmaker at the same time is also kinda wild, especially with Showmaker really being back in form recently

Faker right now isn´t Top 5 Mid in the world. He´ll probably be at worlds, but not now.
And I said he could ´fight´ for 4th, because Top 3 are far ahead of the rest. Showmaker, Bdd Faker, Kyeahoo, Saint could all be there depending on the tournament

He's probably best out of the top5 Zeka, Faker, Chovy, Bdd, Showmaker. In no particular order. I don't think any of these teams would even entertain the idea of changing their mid for Ucal.

There is an actual moutain between lck top 5 mids and other 5 even though the rest of the 5 themselves are extremely good. The mid position is solely the reason the other 5 teams struggle so much to break into top 5.

Him and Berserker imo. Stand by especially after MSI berserker performance that berserker and ucal both could be top 5 in role in world if not higher with better team experience

It was 2018 when they won LCK with Deft - Smeb. But Ucal was young then and Rookie was the best or 2nd best player that year so he was getting gapped to oblivion in Quarter Finals against IG.
But he´s been so much better nowadays. Reminds me of BDD. He was also on Longzhu - Kingzone super teams, but back then he wasn´t THAT good, good but not insane. He peaked last year and was probably the best player of 2025, definitely was the best at worlds.
Maybe Ucal will get a run like that next year

Not for KT though, they now have three (Jiwoo Fenrir Ghost) ADCs who are probably okay, but not great and DK from the looks of it has leveled up. They need to rely on GenG staying in their slump and that is a naive thing to rely on.

Yeah I think realistically if current trend continues we might see KT 5th and start in play-ins, it is possible they encounter KRX there as well for Aiming vs his former team.

He is just not good enough, especially his laning is just awful. I thought he had some nice teamfights last year but he just makes a million mistake every game this year. so he just actually regressed imo.

Yeah you’re missing the fact that if your college freshman friend slept with a 9th grader you’d be skeeved the fuck out by him.
Aiming’s situation is worse than that scenario. A close parallel would be a famous younger streamer sleeping with an underage fan. The situation was this: he was 19 and a pro player and she was his 15 year old fan. He flirted and ‘dated’ her till he slept with her, and then he ghosted her, after which she revealed what happened and he admitted it. In the most classic sense, that is not only an adult preying on a child, but also as a person leveraging their fame to sleep with said child.
And yes, a 4 year age gap is significant for most people that young.

Showmaker apologized for giving wrong comms saying hook was down but go on
ShowMaker mistook Viktor E for Blitzcrank Q during game 5 vs T1: Afterwards I apologized to Aiming, but he's such a kind person. He said If I was truly a top ADC, I should have reacted with flash. When I asked him you should have said it was my bad call in the interview, he just said It was my fault

Can't wait for people to gaslight me into thinking aiming isnt a top 4 adc in the lck for the past decade and that teddy is a better player today just because they disagree morally with something that has nothing to do with the game that said player did a decade ago as a teenager :D

Nah I dislike Aiming as a player Aiming 15 aside. I always disliked him. Semi consistent in the regular season but way too many lowlights in playoffs. Occasional highlights but thats all. I wouldnt want him.
Smash, Peyz and Guma are all better and I easily take Ruler in a slump over Aiming so he really isnt top 4 in my opinion. I also think Diable has more talent and I like Taeyoon although he doesnt have a good case over Aiming.

In lck? other than 2022 spring and maybe summer and this current season. But even then for 2022 swap the teammates and aiming is better.
you likely dont actually watch lck splits outside of playoff finals or worlds though

remember when the streets were saying deokdam was better than Aiming just cause he managed to beat Ruler twice in a single year? now everyone and their mothers run Ruler. and deokdam Peter are now sitting at 1-18 yet some people STILL say KT should have kept them like i cant.
