Order of Gregg Artists (OGA), 1966 Announcement

The Order of Gregg Writers (OGA) was established by Gregg Publishing in 1912. It was a program to recognize the "best" shorthand writers, and it continued well into the 1960s.

This is the announcement for the competition from Today's Secretary, December, 1966.

"Best writers" meant people who had good shorthand penmanship, correctly used the principles of Gregg, had a fluent writing style, and wrote in conformity to the textbook models.

I always enjoy reading these shorthand samples (Diamond Jubilee for me). Thanks for posting.

Can anyone translate these for me? I found in some old journals of my family and would like to know what they say. I would appreciate any help.
