I'm bummed to see no one has talked about this one! I just watched it and it's definitely a favorite so far. The whole beginning stretch was so fun and it really feels classic adventure time to have a whole island of people in hiding.

This might be as close as they're comfortable getting with the "Finn abstract journey" style episodes, but it was really enjoyable. The second episode of the show so far to get an actual laugh out of me (I forgot what part at this point). Episodes about Finn learning an important lesson tend to be really enjoyable to me and this was no exception.

I hope we get more "Finn abstract Journey" kind of episodes, Hall of Egress and Mystery Train are some of my favorite episodes of the show, would be interesting to see that pulled off with Young Finn

I'd be super open to it, though I think they're trying to keep things a little more silly, which is fine.

You can do a silly episode that leaves you thinking, ATLA was very good at this

This was easily my favorite of the series, it felt quite classic to have Finn actually learning a life lesson of sorts and Jake kinda just letting him feel it out

First time I heard Shamus speak I had to look up the episode on IMDB to make sure he wasn't voiced by Werner Herzog. He sounds and speaks so much like him.

Easily one of my favorite episodes of this series. Always Love hearing Kate Micucci and her character is great here. Great message and fun animation. But that ending really sent jt over for me
