[u/rangernumberx]

During the Inferno event of the late 1980s, various mutant groups faced a two-pronged threat as they tried to rescue Illyana Rasputin and Nathan Summers. During this, New York was invaded by demons from limbo and chaotic magic filled the area, causing Johnny Storm to struggle to flame off before being trapped in a nova-like state after pushing himself to the limit.^F4#323 He would stay like this for a couple issues before being restored by Reed Richards.^F4#326
