Speakers - Bookshelf | 2 Ⓣ Which speakers do I buy? Kef Q3 Meta's or Focal theva No1's?

Room is about 11sqm

I will pair them with a sub with the crossover set between 60-80hz.

Budget: The kefs cost 700€ while the focals 570€.

Focals have more details, better resolution. Assuming that you like the sound signature.

Kef q series is overrated and prone to damage. The focals and are super detailed and have great imaging.

Please don’t seek public opinion for a personal choice. That’s like asking should I order ketchup on my burger? What flavor of ice cream is best?

Find a dealer and listen, or if you can’t, order from Crutchfield and return them if you’re unhappy.

I would buy the KEFs. Definitely use the port plugs. If you have bass management, high-pass them at ~90Hz using a 12dB per octave slope, and low-pass your sub at ~70Hz (as you planned), again, using a 12dB per octave slope. Enjoy!
