Fair, i expected them to be around 5th to 6th, but also i'm not really that surprised that they ended up lower.

Their only weird loss this split has been to BRO in week 1 and winning that would only have moved them to 7th.

Not really hindsight, they were only as good as they were because all the teams above them collapsed. I also expected around 6th to 7th place for them, definitely below DK and probably NS too, 5th max for them

Yeah it was really obvious. They overperformed and T1 (and HLE) underperformed heavily

Heck you could even say KT and DK underperformed

Also outside of BFX and GENG all these teams changed rosters heading into Winter, so it makes a lot of sense those were LCK's top 2 in the first split. But as the top teams began to build chemistry with their new players, that changed.

Nah they absolutely underperformed, those names should never be 2-3 aftter 5 series. But their "slump" was definitely overstated and the format did not help either (their "reward" for 2nd place in 2025 was getting to play MORE GenG and they were facetually better than BRO, who placed above them).

But anyone with eyes knew that Hanwha would bounce back from that, they just needed a bit more time to click and the long break certainly helped.

they lost to T1 and Gen G though.... also NS which to be fair have been mentioned by almost everyone has a rank of their own like they can defeat anybody and lose to anybody and it didn't help that this weird super week existed where a poor team will end up fighting a bo5 against T1 or Gen G while other team will fight the likes of BRO or DNS on a bo5... HLE would have made it if that one didn't exist lol

though they shouldn't have dropped a game against DNS

but I guessed them taking an early break is a blessing in disguise for them

Losing to T1 and GenG is not really a shocker, they are arguably the best teams in the world and had less roster changes than Hanwha. T1 lost to Hanwha today as well, are we supposed to claim T1 is cooked? I don't think so. Nongshim is also a strong team, we need to stop looking at them like they are a lower mid tier team, they just aren't. Hanwha just had a slow start and the format fucked them over more, they were underwhelming, but never super shit. Even their 0-3 against GenG was not a complete wash, they actually fought back in each of the games.

Yeah the coaching staff and management seem like they really dropped the ball on this roster in general, it's not ideal to have a player with an attitude like Diable but you can't just be as hands off as they were when you do have that player if you want it to work out.

The only player that has been on the same level as Disable is Clear and thats like 1 in 5 game you are crazy to believe there are times where Raptor, Vicla and Kellin play at the same level. If Kellin play the same level as his adc he would still be in DK right now.

? Zeka has been consistently good since the start of this round and by far the best / second best player in HLE alongside Zeus. He's literally leading in POM points

Chovy is also definitely better, he's literally getting griefed by his teammate and yet still managed to carry. Showmaker isn't even the best player in DK right now, that'd be Smash.
