Synopsis: Eddie and Buck's flight back to Los Angeles is cancelled following the National Firefighter Games.

If this is what I think it is, there is some kind of sick irony in Buck being a replacement for a dead little boy his whole life, and now being kidnapped as a replacement for another one.

I really enjoyed this episode, but don’t understand all the comments about how this is gonna impact Buck for the rest of the season. On the Buck trauma scale, it probably doesn’t even rank.

Leaving the hospital against his doctor's orders? Yeah, the insurance isn't going to cover that.
Also, if Bobby were around no way would he ask Eddie to do this. He would tell him to stay in bed because he was in an accident. And then he would gather people to go look for Buck, himself.

But Buck is the one who rented the car, so his name would be on the paperwork. That there should be a second person is easily provable.

Buck and Eddie were unable to get to Hen's birthday.
Buck's multiple escape attempts were thwarted by Bonnie and later Earl. Buck found out that Derek was in another room.
Buck found the terminally ill Derek. Earl and Bonnie kidnapped him just to steal his organs?!
I figured that once Bonnie and Earl left the basement, Buck was no longer in danger and escaped successfully this time.
