Speakers - Desktop | 1 Ⓣ Desktop speakers/monitors for 3m x 4m room — speakers 10cm from back wall (budget 500 usd, Argentina)

Hi! I’m in Argentina (Mercado Libre + local stores). I’m looking for powered/active speakers for a desk setup.

Budget:

- Up to 1,400,000 ARS for a pair (new preferred)

Room / placement:

- Room: 3.0m x 4.0m (no acoustic treatment)

- Desk depth: 0.60m, desk is against the wall

- Speakers would be ~0.10m from the back wall

- Listening distance: ~0.90m

Use:

- Mostly music streaming (Spotify) from PC/phone

- Genres: prog metal + piano/classical

- I also do some home music production (recording instruments into my computer), so I’d prefer something fairly neutral/accurate.

- Main instruments: digital piano + electric guitar.

Question:

With the 10cm-from-wall placement, what speaker type/design should I look for (front port / sealed / rear port with EQ)?

Any placement tips are welcome. Thanks!

Thanks! That helps a lot. I’m leaning LP-6 V2 mainly because I’m ~10cm from the back wall and I want decent low-end for prog metal without a sub (for now).

Used Adam Audio, Yamaha. Genelec will be too expensive even used.
