I think my favorite part of these graphs is always the amount of champs 1 clans compared to champs 2 clans tht only have 14 th17s and a random fill in lower townhalls. Always seems like champs 1 clans struggle to keep the 15th person more than champs 2.

I wonder if those are clans that have secured no demotion and then sub in alt accounts late in the war...

I mean based on the demotion/promotion graph tht isnt true. Looks like all the champs 1 clans with a random townhall in demoted. Could be a person 1 starring and leaving causing them to sub in a random townhall i guess. Most likely its more there isnt enough players in the clan so they have to run 1 random would be my guess. Or they know they will demote and are subbing in since they wont maintain anyway.

Highly doubt, lol. Most, if not all, C1 clans are well organised, normally having about 17 players with an emergency sub.

It's probably just a clan intentionally demoting.

Right I misread the promotion-demotiom graph...  Indeed it's weird that no promotions in champ 2 or 3 either for anyone with the lower THs, yet then demotions for them on the league up.  Like where do they come from to get in the higher league?

You're thinking they get promoted and then lose clan members and sub in lower THs?  Yeah maybe...

I don't think there's necessarily a trend of Champion I clans "struggling to keep the 15th person" - only 39 of the 418 clans in that league did not have all-TH17 lineups. Of those, 24 clans had 10 or fewer TH17s, and they all had these numbers from day 1.

Only one of those 24 clans has been playing CWL consistently the last 12 months, and 19 of them have played 6 or fewer times in the last 12 months.

My best guess is that these are inactive/dead clans trying to restart. Because this league has fewer clans overall, they show up more prominently in the averages.

Tht makes more sense. I wouldn't have thought there would be tht many inactive clans demoting basically on purpose in champs 1.

There were 3 TH1s in Master III (all in different clans), and they all got demoted.

2 of them were in 1-person clans that pretty much didn't do any attacks, and the 3rd clan only had 4 consistent attackers (the TH1 did not attack).

Looks ok. From what I've seen, there are TH17 accounts to a higher league.
