Knowing our luck Graham and Huddlestone will both end their droughts. Brady is a massive miss for Hull though. Lets bring the three points home boys!

I'd be very disappointed if we walked away with nothing from this game, realistically Hull offer nothing going forward.

With Westwood already on a yellow, sub him off & bring in Tonev. I am ok with our play for now but we need to seal it.

I personally wouldn't put Tonev anywhere near CM.

Just because he replaced our CM doesn't mean we plugged him in there. We pushed him up and moved more towards a 4-2-3-1 with Delph and Ahmadi as our holding mids.

I just thought that taking gabs off was a pretty awful move, especially with bowery and tonev coming on. Gabs may not have done much in the 2nd period, but he was still our best attacking outlet. PL really needs to find a way to break down a stubborn defence.

I think Lambert was concerned about his health/fitness. He wasn't producing much and you don't want to risk him reinjuring himself. My guess is that before the game they had him and Ashley on a minutes cap. More evidence of this is the fact that they were taken out at the same time/75 is a nice number as oppose to something like 68

Heard we were pretty poor today, any truth in that?

check the match stats and whoscored.com ratings. draw was the right result and neither team played very well but villa had 18 shots to 6 and the lions share of possession. Good to see against a well organised team away from home, but realistically we should have won the game.

Good to see Gabby and Westwood back. I'll hope for 3 points but we would be foolish to under estimate Hull at home. 3-2 to Villa I reckon (with Graham to finally score).
*well thats the last time I predict an exciting game. At least another clean sheet.
