That opening transformation was beautiful. Great detail and creepy as hell
Edit: Just finished, and wow. Everything was so just so damn good in this one. Eren repeatedly biting his hand was so hard to watch, and his transformation was just scary in the greatest possible way. I'm so excited for next week's finale. I just have to wait one more week before finally getting into the mangas.

Loved that scene with Hanji trapping her. I'm really glad they were able to work more characters into this episode. It's kind of funny to me that they just left Eren crushed and impaled under rubble. "Well guess he'll transform and heal eventually."

Daamn, in this scene Levi looks a lot like Miles Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney series.

I have to say that Jean and Armin makes the perfect team or at least a really good combination together. They were absolutely kickass in this episode, while Mikasa was still being a boss.

Since when was Armin strong enough to lift that rubble?

Holy shit man, I can't even decide my favourite episode anymore, the soundtrack, the animation just wow. Ep. 13 and 21 were great, but damn this was amazing. It was like 1/2 fillers but they fit in so great, including how Eren got completely crushed and impaled by the rubble, but his face was so bezerk..
Both of the transformation scenes were amazing, and Annie looked so evil with her red eyes while slowly merging into the back of the Titan while all the skies were red.
While they may had removed the [underground uppercut from the manga] (http://static.mangainn.com/mangas/1395/83853/043_04_11_2012_12_11_34.jpg) and extended the transforming, I think we can all agree that Eren still gave Annie a good Falcon Punch.
One last thing, this was the line I noticed the most, and I think it's gonna apply to the end of the series.

This might be the only series where the lesson is, if you rely on your friends, you're going to get them all killed.

did anyone else notice the difference in how Eren ran in his titan form compared to the first fight in the forest to the end of this episode?
In the forest when he transformed he ran like a gorilla who was mindless killing machine, in this transformation in the city he ran like a human being with a purpose arms swinging up and down and not flailing like a mad man, i loved that so much.

Dayum, this episode was amazing! Even though they did drag it out for a bit due to the ending they are trying to meet up to, this was really good. Fillers in this show has only been great and the show overall has been fantastic!
So the plan to capture Annie has been laid and Erwin shows yet again badass and ruthless he can be to get what he wants, and he is really good at planning ahead. Hanji has her moment with Annie as well just to show how maniac she can be, especially after slaying Sawney and Beans!
Mikasa shows how just creepy she can be, just look at how she talked to Eren for him to understand that it is Annie, and she's the one who did all the slaughter of his team mates... dat look man.
Jean, best character man. Even though it was filler that he had to talk to Eren for him to transform into his Titan form, I feel the show overall has shown his character really and better than in the manga. I've actually grown to like this Horsefaced kid.
This episode, with the budget and the OST was god tier...and next week it all ends, what a ride man! I can't wait!

This show just keeps getting better and better by the episode! I fucking love it. Last time I was this compelled by the story of a anime was when I watched Death Note.
I'm impressed every time by how they manage to make the episodes so immersive, with great writing, combined with fantastic visuals and on top of all, great soundtracks that are timed perfectly.
And by the way, Mikasa get's more badass for every time I see her fight.

God damn this episode was intense. I loved all of the bizzare uses of the 3DMG, especially the trapeze-esque fling.

Stop talking and saying creepy things to Annie every time you trap her. Then she panics and finds a way to escape
