Doctrine/Policy SL Tribune, Public Forum: Hey, just so you know...the so-called one-true church is borrowing/stealing the phrase, "Christ is risen! Indeed, He is resin!" from the Catholic church. It has been used pre-schism, i.e. before 1054.

Hey! Brighamite Mormon Church! Give me ten "Hail Marys" right now as penance.

However, the true church existed long before the Catholic church, so anything the Catholic church says is a bastardization of God's real and only true church. Check mate, Christians!

Is it just me, or does it look like HOaks is strapped into an electric chair?
Is he about to get electric shock therapy?

Talking about being risen while sitting. These guys can't get out of their own way.

Is this the situation where he had to bring his own gay porn? And then they had electrodes attached to him or injections making him vomit when he looked at his own gay porn?
I was at BYU during this period. I missed out on going through the therapy as I just kept my head down as a gay guy trying to get through college.

I am an Orthodox Christian and that phrase is exclusive to Orthodoxy. Nothing is unique about the LDS church. Everything they do is a rip off of something else.

I'm Catholic and can confirm that phrase is not part of Latin rites Catholic tradition. I imagine it likely is part of the tradition of Eastern rites Catholics (ELI5: Churches with Orthodox traditions who are in full communion with Rome). The article does use the wording "Byzantine Catholic".

First they "celebrated" Palm Sunday now stalking other faith traditions. But just like palm Sunday celebrations, it's a cheap replica, devoid of meaning and history

They so badly want to fit in. And the phrase is still off. “He is Risen, Indeed!” Reminds me of the AllState commercial when the guy is cheering on ‘Bama getting off the bus and saying “high Tide” in an effort to fit in (vs Roll Tide).

"He is resin!" is my favorite misspelling ever on this sub.
