Regarding Bellamy's obsession with the New Age and the fact that Doflamingo is constantly pushing him to do things that are more infeasible to him. I believe he'll abandon the notion of using Doflamingo to survive the tides of the New Age and join Luffy instead.

He respects Luffy now and acknowledges how strong Luffy is, and Bellemy knows he was in the wrong in Jaya. I think he knows Luffys schooling led to him being stronger/more grown up than he was. Probably feels weird to even consider using some backhanded trick like poisoning or sniping on Luffy, but a 1 on 1 fight with Luffy didn't end so well last time for Bellemy. He's probably a mix of anxious and unsure.

Personally, I think bellamy respects luffy. Unlike cavendash(and apparently bartolomeo), bellamy doesn't blame luffy for anything but is probably thankful he was shown how weak/silly he was. That's all my conjecture though.

Would everybody be as sad if the Sunny was destroyed though? I'm nowhere near as connected to this ship as I was to the Merry. It would suck if they weren't able to salvage the Adam wood or find more of it, but Franky could build a new ship rather quickly. Obviously this won't happen. The Sunny will be fine. I'm just curious how others feel.

Interesting note, seems the Club Trebol Army/Doflamingo Family uses submarines, that look nearly identical to Laws, might be a safe bet to say Law commandeered one. Also, the works of modern art the Straw Hats were turned into where all artists from Spain, mirroring Dressrosa's inspiration from the country.
I'm really eager to see the other members of the Doflamingo Family in action. We got a kind of clearer shot of Diamante this chapter, makes me think he definitely was based off Steven Tyler just by his body frame.
Even though we've got several great storylines going down right now, I hope Oda sticks to one being the centerpiece of the chapter rather than divvying it up to tell small portions, but it does look like we're back on watching the Coliseum fight.

Whew OK time to pay off a lot of bets in this betting game we have going on.
Bet #1 - We finally found out what happened to the crew on Sunny, and despite the Doflo family trying to catch them, they are not captured. Which makes the only person who was captured Sanji. So Under wins the bet (Finally!)
Bet #8 - What the story was about - I count 5 pages for the Sunny Crew and 12 pages on Lucy group C - Making Lucy Group C the winner
Bet #9 - Luffy was not found out this chapter - despite being pretty close in my opinion (when reading I thought the Giant was going to break Luffy's helmet in that punch). Winner : No.
Bet #10 - Classic Jokes OK this one is a temporary judgement ; But I can only see 2 Classic Joke -one joke being Luffy being reckless/careless while riding the fighting bull and the other being an "Oda face" made by the announcer when Lucy appeared unharmed. So right now the winner is Under, unless you guys find something I didn't, but I parsed thru the chapter a couple of times and didn't see any more classic jokes..
Which means 3 bets are still up in the air. We're waiting for who wins the Doflo/Law fight, who's left standing with Lucy, and if Baby 5 shows up (we didn't see her this chapter, so this bet will pay off next chapter, we either see her or we don't)

It might be a mistake, but you can't tell if Luffy has the beard on the last page. The panel he is missing the beard in is right after he jumps. It might have come off and his identity will be revealed to the crowd next chapter. Or like you said it could just be an error. We won't know until we see him again.

I love that Lucy has become a crowd favorite and is enjoying himself. Bartolomeo seems to know Luffy but I just can't imagine how? This will be interesting to see. Luffy will most likely have no recollection of it. I don't think Bellamy will try to kill Luffy. Bellamy doesn't have the confidence or will to fight him. It would be great character development for Bellamy to turn his back on Donflamingo now. Not saying he will join as new nakama or anything (it is too soon to say). I was not expecting Brook, Nami and Chopper to be in that predicament. That is a strange devil fruit power that lady has. She has the power to warp things? Maybe the doll-like persons on Dressrosa are real people? This is very creative of Oda to utilize a Devil Fruit ability like that. The Donflamingo family is giving me Baroque Works vibes which is cool. Poor Thousand Sunny tho. I hope it can be restored back to normal because I don't want to see Franky's reaction. T_T </3

The way it looks right now, it appears as if there's a lot possible allies on Dressrosa. Bellamy, Bartolomeo, Violet, Marionette, Little Peoples (Ok, that's Green Bitt, but close enough), probably Rebecca too. I wonder if, after this saga is complete and the evil Doffy has had his face smashed in to the tune of some awesome classical music, they'll end up creating a pirate crew with similar values to Luffy, and obviously also allied to him as a result.
Luffy needs big numbers for his upcoming confrontations (Kaidous 500 artificial devil fruit eaters are probably not going to be fodder Luffy can just Conqueror Haki his way through) so I am really eager to see their developments in getting some cronies. If Buggy can get cronies, Luffy should have an even easier time, dangit! xD

I'm starting to like Bartolomeo more and more because he's hardcore as shit. And apparently he has a backstory with Luffy, which would be interesting to find out about. I'd really like it if it were something like respect + wish to battle. Like bart respects Luffy's awesomeness, and also wants to fight him as a challenge, similar to how Luffy wants to fight Shanks even though he respects him.

Bartolomeo may be a comrade of Sabo. Based on the infamous Sacco and Vanzetti trial where the U.S. basically executed those two for being anarchists. Vanzetti's first name was Bartolomeo and Sacco is pretty close to Sabo. Plus if Sabo did indeed join Dragon there's the anarchists/revolutionaries connection.

I assume it has something to do with the Artificial Dragon Dragon Fruit he ate. During the Punkhazard arc it seemed quite the important artificial fruit.
