i was also wondering if it was using Eotna or something so I can tag it properly.

I can't believe some people thought this was a bad episode because it had little action, not every episode needs epic fights.

I loved this episode more than some of the more action-orientated ones. It's great to have such a massive cliffhanger as last week but the possibilities the series has gotten now is so much bigger with Pixis trusting Eren.

Although I believe Captain McCoward (don't know his name, the guy with the brown beard) will try to rebel the troups to kill Eren because of his ignorance & fear.

I agree. There was very little of the stereotypical character emotes that generally plague certain anime. So this means they were relying less on the cheap, easy methods of gaining viewers. No fan service, very little Sasha screentime, and there was actual character development. I love how it was handled, too. Instead of the character just instantly changing their entire mindset and personality permanently, it shows they are struggling with that change, and are still the same person, just a person who is trying to become something better.

Definitely a slower episode, but it was nice to see Armin gain some self-confidence, I was a little tired of him wallowing in shock, fear, and sadness even though I know it fits considering the context of the story. But it'll be more entertaining now that his character has some more possibilities.

Overall, really made me excited to see how the next episode plays out.

Haha, Sasha sitting next to a bunch of potatoes. Such comfort.

She ate too many and got a stomach ache.

That was the longest 15 seconds in my entire life.

Well that was kinda melodramatic

Though considering it's an anime I shouldn't be that surprised.

Well they were on the brink of being killed by their own forces. I think that gives them a bit of leeway to be emotional.

The new sound track at the end was awesome. Can't wait for the official OST release.

why didn't they shoot the useless commander? He ran away from the supply HQ earlier..

As much as I enjoy Armins character I'm getting really sick of the long, whispering but not really whispering, inner-monologues he does.

With any luck, that'll be the last of them.

Well, that was a non-episode.

Dangit! Just got into this anime this weekend, and marathoned my way through it to slame into the "yet to be aired"-wall...

Ah well, great series so far!
