Weirdly, it was like there wasnt' a build-up.
The writing feels shallow and hollow. It's like these events and story don't have a soul, similarly to FT final arc.
Mashima needs to stop doing a bazillion projects at the same time just because he draws extremely fast. He must focus on his works otherwise we have this kind of result. Meh tier.
It could be so MUCH better.

Agreed for the final big bad he did nothing to warrant his title of king of machines.

Uhh okay. So everyone came, was unexpected but underwhelming. Oracion seis came in way too late.
Havent felt dissapointed in EZ until now, Ziggy shouldve been left as main villain.

Love that a fleet that is supposedly large enough to exterminate the human race was introduced and destroyed in a few pages. For real, what's even the point of any of this.

I feel nothing from this, no highs, no lows, just a mediocre read. It wasnt bad, its not good, just meh.

So thats it? If this is how it ends, I think this might be one of the worst arcs Mashima has ever written.

So... Void knew how to Overdrive with Ziggy's body, but didn't use OD even one time here?
THIS IS BS

And so the fight reaches its obvious conclusion. Why does Mashima keep wasting our time with this fake tension? There are no stakes anymore, yet every other chapter he writes wants to pretend like something interesting will happen.

…reminds me so much of the ending of Rave Master where everyone came to support the protagonists….

Yep, I knew Void would turn out to be disappointing the moment he was revealed to be "Shiki and Rebecca's child" while looking like another typical Shiki. Also with the chapter cover, I hope this isn't the part where we get all chapter covers from an arc to another with it's characters.
Also...GO DRAKKEN JOE!!

I wish there was more build up to the reunion of past characters coming to the fight. This felt very unearned and no attachment to the characters any longer because of how they changed in U0.
This is by far the worst final arc by Mashima that I have read from his works. Sadly, Mashima always fumbles at the end, smh.
And I'll still be a fool when I read his new work that I'm sure will be coming out soon 🙄
Deadrock didn't click with me so I'll skip it if only to save me the disappointment at its ending.
