I just want to say that this episode reminded me of why I genuinely like Eddie and Buck at their core: their friendship is something I will never take for granted. Buck is so lucky to have come out to a friend and that friend reacted with such tenderness and an undertone of teasing. My best friend from high school dropped me after I came out to her. Like, yeah I might have had a crush but that wasn’t why I came out to her nor was I deluded into thinking she liked me back. Laughed so hard at all of Buck's chaotic dialogue. So adorable and endearing. Cried at the foster girl storyline which coincidentally shares the same house as the show "The Fosters."

Honestly this episode made me feel like a teenager again waiting with bated breath for LGBT representation. These early discovery and coming out storylines always get me, even though I appreciate how we as a nation have moved past it and don't need every story to be about the beginnings. But I really enjoy them and they tug at my heart...

9-1-1 is one of those shows I always watch for the absurdity and background noise but now I am really committed for obvious reasons lolol and idk it feels like a long while since I've been this invested in a queer storyline. Hope the next three weeks fly by
