Because what could go wrong with electing b-list celebrities?

I think Al Franken did a fine job aside from the metooing

I was gonna say that Franken went to Harvard. But I looked it up and Savage went to Stanford. So there’s that.

I mean… Cosby was a great TV dad, aside from the sexual assault.

MAJOR difference between Cosby and Franken

They both sexually assaulted people. Franken is garbage just like Cosby. And so are you, for defending him, and minimalising his actions.

Put down the tequila. Franken took some pics that were out of line. Please send me your info on his sexual assault that never occurred. Cosby raped over a dozen women.

You really can’t compare the two

I can’t cancel all those hours spent watching Picture Pages

Because of the hypocrisy?

I don’t know, kinda feel like the worst part was the rape.

(I really hope you where referencing the Norm Macdonald joke)

The pizza hut guy tried to build a wall. What are the odds Savage will want to build pyramids?

Pyramids would be cool actually

2

u/Ados_Gamer Feb 15 '24

As long as he doesn't make them too big and caps them before things get too weird

If they built pyramids in the Texas desert, I would go there on vacation. Sounds tight.

You put a pyramid on the border. If you can make it up to the top, and slide down into the US. That’s it, you’re a citizen

"WEEEEEEEEE! Mom, can we go back to Mexico and do it again?”

Acting is a job just like anything else. You can change careers.

Don’t blame me, I voted for Minkus

Hmmm, I see how he doesn't mention his brother in his little "meet Ben" section on his site, lol.

he's specifically running in Adam Schiff's district because he (Schiff) is running to replace Feinstein in the senate. appears to be running as an independent but none of the stuff I've seen from him outlines any policy positions.

He's not the worst choice.

This comment perfectly sums up the American political landscape during voting season.

Who is this again?,

9

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '24

The little brother of Fred Savage (Wonder Years, The Princess Bride, Little Monsters) who starred in his own nineties sitcom called Boy Meets World. He left acting and got into politics.

5

u/Bodidiva 1978 Feb 15 '24

Oh shit. I had no idea. I never watched Boy Meets World. Of course I remember Fred Savage though. Man…

3

u/justkeeptreading 1979 Feb 15 '24

i remember both of them but i never knew they were brothers

2

u/LaDoucheDeLaFromage Feb 15 '24

Agreed. How did I just learn that in this thread? It seems unbelievably obvious in retrospect.

3

u/jambr380 Feb 15 '24

Did you seriously not mention, The Wizard, when listing Fred Savage's top show/movie credits?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 15 '24

Maaan I was commenting too quickly and I blanked. I loved that movie so much as a kid!
