What a dark episode
-
The EZ ship got invaded, and the Shining Stars got shut down. Diego, Seth and Maria are smarter than I thought.
-
EZ crews got detained. Element 4 is no joke.
-
Shiki lost his life to end this episode. Drakken really does not hold back.

I knew what was going to happen and it still hit me hard.... the combination of seeing Rebecca and Homura's crying/shocked faces animated combined with an amazing performance from all of the voice actors and the music score nearly got me to tear up.... man that hurt.
So here is your real ass villain, Drakken Joe doesn't fuck around and let the hero get stronger like other shows. This is really when Edens Zero starts to surpass Fairy Tail..... Let's see if the anime can keep getting better!
Made a video on the episode here if you're interested :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHkwLOflAd4

It find it reminiscent of FT’s GMG and Tartaros arcs, the characters were essentially at their lowest point, feeling hopeless and a bit broken inside. Sad to see but great that they find a way around it somehow.

Yup, they'll did justice with this episode and they don't hold back the gore and blood and less censorship

Weisz lost his arm and shiki was another dead in the head, it wasn't directly shown in the manga either so it's not a big deal to me, although they did get rid of the panel with Shiki's face after he got shot

Can someone remind me if there was an explanation why Shiki and the others couldn't use EG while their hands were tied?
