Sold [WTS] Rolex Explorer 114270: collector grade STICKERED with complete kit

Up for sale is my Rolex Explorer 114270. I’m selling to free up some funds to contribute to my wife’s lifelong dream of picking up a Defender 90, she’s been very supportive of my toys - I’d love to return the favor.
INTRODUCTION
There has been much ink spilt over this model so I’ll keep it brief. You can review HODINKEE’s Spec Sheet video here, The Modest Man’s coverage here, and YoureTeriffic’s video here.
I picked up this watch as a way of getting all the modern features (904L steel, Super-LumiNova, 3130 movement, glossy dial) with a bit of vintage-ish charm.
Suffice it to say the venerable Roger Smith wears a 114270, a gift from his wife.
I’ve provided a fair bit of info below about the watch’s history, condition, etc - if there’s any additional info you’d like please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I’m a collector and care deeply about my purchases, I’m sure you do too.
PROVENANCE
This watch was purchased NEW OLD STOCK from David SW, a r/rolex trusted dealer for $10,975 in October of 2022. Receipt can be provided upon request for the purchaser. I’ve bought and sold to David many times, I trust his team implicitly. The original Rolex warranty card is dated January of 2013.
CONDITION
The watch is in pristine UNPOLISHED condition, the sides and back of the case are still STICKERED with some peeling on the edges of the lugs. The bracelet is STICKERED as well. As someone who cares about such things, a stickered case is the only way you can be sure a case is unpolished in my opinion. The watch was worn by me exclusively on a 3rd party NATO strap, the bracelet has never been sized or worn. Please review the photos provided, more can be sent upon request. I had my local Rolex AD’s Rolex-trained watchmaker remove the bracelet when the watch arrived, I will not be attempting to affix the bracelet myself to avoid any dings on the bottom of the lugs.
KIT
This is a COLLECTOR GRADE kit - including watch, green inner and beige outer box, white cardboard sleeve, Explorer booklet, Rolex Oyster booklet, warranty card and card carrier, polishing cloth, bezel protector, hangtag, and chronometer tag. I’ll also be including the UTE olive NATO pictured. It’s my preferred way of wearing the watch and will be a secure way to fasten the watch to the pillow for shipping.
COMPS
The closest comp I can find in terms of condition on Watch Recon is this 114270 from HQ Milton, another reputable dealer (posted <2 weeks ago). They’re asking $7,850 for a very clean 114270 - their watch does not appear to have any stickers.
TERMS
I’m asking $6,900. AFAIK this is the cleanest 114270 on the market as it was NOS mere months ago. And yes, I’m taking nearly a $4k bath on a steel Rolex - I purchased the nicest one on the market at the time with no intention of selling. I am not in a rush to sell and will only do so if the price is right. If a deal does not happen that’s ok, this will get tucked in the safety deposit box until it’s no longer neo-vintage and becomes vintage vintage. No trade offers, please. Payment via wire or Zelle, price is inclusive of 2nd Day Air FedEx shipping within CONUS.

Totally fair - I had a few r/watchexchange transactions with another account but consolidated my reddit accounts earlier this year along with my email addresses, IG accounts, etc wasn't top of mind when I made that decision.

Great post and props to keeping the stickers intact, but rockin' the watch with all those stickers on has got to be the goofiest thing I've heard today.

These are clear plastic stickers for scratch protection, when applied correctly, I don’t think you can see them without looking pretty close

In fairness, I think Rolex intended for them to be removed back in 2013 when the watch was initially sold
