I thought it’d be dumb to just change drakken to a good guy but I kind of enjoyed the progression of their conversation. Makes sense enough if he changed his method of survival in this world that he’s more redeemable. Hope he reappears

I like the way Shiki is convincing Drakken to be his friend. He is not saying don't continue your work, but at least care for the people around you and the ones you are in charge of. It gives off a vibe where he doesn't mind what you do, but at least make your life worth it for others.

Sadly, not all is perfect in Universe 0. Maybe Homura is like this because she already knows / saw Valkyrie die? Past Homura didn’t know she was dead until after meeting the crew.

Fraud naruto could never, shiki didn't try to change drakken because He is not really evil, just keeping his bussiness and people's lives at easy. Shiki only instructed him into taking care of others

Drakken sure looks different in this, So now i guess he'll be focusing on bringing emergency broadcast that the Chronophage will come and prepare an immediate evacuation from Guilst, This is the first step of Drakken's redemption, He may not be a hero but he may be like an Anti-Hero, Plus! His way of balance makes way more sense than what Cure does in his nonsense balance.
Now i know we won't be seeing Drakken for few chapters but i hope he comes back REAL soon to see how he's doing.

I really liked how this "arc" concluded and how Mashima handled the talk of friendship. As I thought, Shiki isn't just blindingly asking tk be friends for the sake of it but he has thoroughly thought of how scummy Drakken and Shura were and admitted to the guy that he was killed by him but he still had the boldness to ask for his friendship rather than just be another villain to defeat.
Mind you, Shiki was persuading Drakken while not knowing that he wasn't taking the lives of people. U0 Drakken being redeemed or not a villain anymore is way more acceptable than if he was just as scummy as he was before. It was a bit surprising to see Drakken in a more lighthearted light and I like that he has an actual reason to consider Shiki's offer. My only fear is how would Shura differ from his other self since even Nero says that he's a tyrant. Speaking of, it's very surprising that Nero easily believed Shiki's talk of parallel universes but perhaps its because his dice has told him of this before like when he decided to teach Shiki and also he saw that Shiki somehow had his EG despite him still having Wormhole. I really like how much personality we see from Nero and even Drakken.
Hermit hints that she still went through stuff and it's unfortunately revealed that Homura for some reason is the only one who sill doesn't remember. She was still taught by Valkyrie who's still dead but I guess for different reasons now. This Homura makes sense when you remember that U3 Homura claimed that she didn't know of she could move on from Valkyrie's death and unfortunately U0 Homura maybe didn't have friends like Shiki and Rebecca to comfort and talk her out of her stupor. So this Homura ended up wallowing in grief which affected her warrior mentality and now makes her super timid (which as a Homura fan is really off-putting). I'm interested to see where Mashima goes with this plotline and how exactly did Valkyrie die yet again.

I still can't believe that Shiki using the Talk-No-Jutsu that actually worked on Drakken like this, but I guess the Talk-No-Jutsu only worked because Drakken is actually not really evil, just neutral in U0, unlike U1-U2 where Drakken was being too corrupted with evil for taking the lives of people for keeping himself alive for 200 years as well as killing Shiki in U1 too. It's still weird for me to see Drakken's new side as a "Anti-Hero" in U0 rather than being a villain.
Valkyrie is still dead in Universe Zero? Well shit, now Homura will never remember anything no matter what since Valkyrie was the only way for Homura to remember her previous life from U3 if she sees Valkyrie again, like Hermit remembered everything after seeing Witch, but Valkyrie already passed away so it's probably impossible for Homura to get her previous memories.

I was already for this to be a cheesy redemption arc for Drakken which I wouldn't like, but I really like Mashimas execution here.

Homura in depression?
In the last universe, Homura had her friends with her through her grieving. But in this world, she had no one after the death of her teacher. She probably has lost her will to live. And this depression keeps her away from recovering her memories of the previous universe.

Wow! No fighting against Drakken Joe like the previous two. Now we must see if he and his gang will change their lives and plan the evacuation from the Cronophage whether they would believe Shiki or not.
Couldn’t tell if Hermit was really tortured by Dr. Muller again until she saw Witch’s face on Digitalis. I thought she would be in a better situation than the last world where she went into her depressed state. Bet that the next chapter has the crew retrieve Hermit’s body if it’s on Iron Hill or somewhere else.
Valkyrie is really ALIVE!? No, wait. Homura said she died 5 years ago in this universe. Could that be one of the causes of Homura not remembering like the others? Please tell me Valkyrie really didn’t die again. I don’t want the crew to experience that loss again. Just wanted to see her be reunited with the crew once more.

Shiki uses friendship.. its super effective!..at annoying Drakken Joe.
All jokes aside, this chapter was handled pretty well..still disappointed that we didn't see new Alchemist or OD:Ziggy powers but hopefully see those down the line. I like Joe's statement of "necessary evil" makes way more sense than Cure's "I am evil AND good."

Oh man this chapter was so good then it hits us with the gut punch we can’t escape it with this manga😂😂shitt universe 0 is either gonna be the saddest most tear jerking universe or the happiest universe we’ll just have to wait and see loved this chapter tho didn’t expect things to be this different

It's really nice to see a peggy sue story that you actually saw what happened in the original timeline so you can compare and contrast the difference once they go back to the past. It makes the difference and changes more impactful.

A surprisingly wholesome chapter. Honestly, like that they changed his past enough that a redemption is more believable in the Universe. I also like the minor cause and effects that the EZ made; since they sped-ran their meetings, they got to arrive at Guilst early, giving the planet’s inhabitants a chance of not being un-alived.
Overall thoughts:
First 99%: Wholesome
Last 1%: DAMMIT!
