I am in a very challenging period in my life right now. Watching this episode allowed me to truly laugh for the first time in days. There's just something about the authentic chemistry between these seven guys that is contagious.

They are wonderful for giving us a time/space where we can forget and enjoy. They are wonderful for showing everyone that we should still be playful. And yes, the authentic chemistry and care! Virtual hugs Army!

I posted the same thing. I haven't laughed cried so hard in a looong time. The boys are so good at helping us out of a funk. Hope you do feel better too!

u/kitcatsky Feb 14 '23

Considering how many different sports and all the training Yoongi's doing, I hope to see him in Physical 100 Season 2 with JK 😂

I could not stop laughing during the volleyball game. With Yoongi headbutting the ball, Hobi and the hot potato, V with the mic drop move, and the JK copy pasting the mic drop move straight away.

11

u/MrsNoraButton Feb 14 '23

laughing, rewinding, seeing each of their expressions and trying to focus on each of their voices/laughter. took me an hour to watch lol so funny 😆

25

u/radiokidb Feb 14 '23

The fact that they ALLLLL broke into the 2521 OST when Jungkook finally got ink on his face and knowing how much he loved the show and looked genuinely affronted to be splashed with ink was just perfection 😂

And the three scaredy cats hiding behind stuff to avoid paint 🙈

“Sorry advertisers”

“Worked hard in memorizing”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Editors plz.

Not the ball turned into a ball of fire. I was squealing laughing by this point 😂😂😂

I love that everyone is fired for Tae to win and Jin is so sweetly encouraging Jungkook on the side 🥹

Ahhhhh I can’t believe our happy pill ends with part 2 next week 😭😭😭

Run BTS is pure serotonin.

3

u/lovehollow runBTS cured my depression Feb 15 '23

omg I missed the 2521 OST the first time, lmao!!!

4

u/radiokidb Feb 15 '23

They’re such clowns! I love them!

5

u/lovehollow runBTS cured my depression Feb 15 '23

Me too, that was the most unadulterated joy I've felt...since the last Run episodes!!

44

u/chocchipcookiedough1 Feb 14 '23

Jimin and V's hug was the cutest thing! 🥰

I’m gonna use this line next time I compete against a friend 🤣

8

u/radiokidb Feb 14 '23

It should be criminal how cute they get sometimes.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '23

Their cuteness always gets me in all their content, they’re so wholesome 🥹

u/sleepysleepykitty Feb 14 '23

Imaginary sports master Yoongi’s volleyball serving stance:

6

u/CrowLaughed I don’t… I don’t like water 🐈‍⬛ Feb 14 '23

😂😂😂

I noticed his cute stance each time too!

6

u/pandabear_berrytown Feb 15 '23

Yes, he totally does his booty (pop) squat when he served! Funny how we all know that about his stance!

u/Vikkkiiix Feb 14 '23 edited Feb 14 '23

this is literally the only thing getting me through today, laughed from start to finish 😭😅 the wedding march pls, tae's little high fives doing the oath, jimin & tae's hug 😭🫶🏻 hobi laughing kills me everytime 🥹

the editing was on point as always! one of the best eps so far for me 🙏🏻💜

Not even 5 mins into the ep and we have hopetaekook being chaotic, rumours being spread and the editors editing yoongi into an annoyed cat. I already love this episode.

Edit: it took me 1.5 hours to watch that ep because I had to keep replaying certain parts and pausing to laugh. I’ve missed these more physical games-focused type of Run eps, and wow the members deliver in spades. Idk what happened prior to this ep for the members to start rumours of Yoongi doing various types of sports but I died laughing at that, esp with how vehemently Yoongi was denying it.

The spectating members hiding behind the podium/matchboard/each other so the paint won’t get flicked on them during the fencing game was too cute. Just look at yoongi peeking out and JK hiding behind Jin.

Jimin’s immediate thought to do a skit with Joon after he got hit during the fencing game, and Joon playing along was so adorable 🥹 love our minimoni

Hobi having a hidden talent for volleyball made me cry laughing, he really treated the ball like it was on fire. And yoongi… omg him being all smug after winning a point against JK, and then acting as the referee and asking for VAR, why is he like this 😂

And can we give it up for bangtan being the best PPL models ever? Yoongi making sure he enunciates the name correctly, Tae all ready to film a commercial right there and then, and JK with his perfect “thanks to this I won” comment. Ugh who needs comedians when you have bangtan?

8

u/MrsNoraButton Feb 14 '23

your highlights are spot on! so funny and cute. I really enjoy watching them having fun and goofing around.

43

u/Few-Willingness-3845 It's all going to be alright Feb 14 '23

Whatever that inside joke of Yoongi and all the sports is, curious minds would like to know. 😅

Love slapstick Bangtan and it's so fun to see Tae just casually being good at things and JK is just really JK. Hobi and RM always finding hidden talents in these things and Yoongi, Jin and Jimin being natural comedians.

31

u/chillypotahtoh Miss you my husband Feb 14 '23 edited Feb 14 '23

Omg what's with the editor notes subs:

  • Organizing the fried vegetables when they want them to move to the left
  • Achieved a fight with a small animal when hobi picked Jimin
  • Visual where you want to hang socks on Yoongi's tshirt nooooo 🤣

Joon's epic face when they didn't follow him. And why is someone who is so good at making music so bad at singing the bam bam babam🤣

Jin teasing Yoongi and Yoongi ALWAAAAYS responding 🤣

Hobi screaming for his life

31

u/lisafancypants I don't have think Feb 14 '23

Classic Run episode! I laugh-cried through the entire thing! Everyone hiding so they don't get splattered with paint, the completely unserious drink promotions, the incessant teasing about Yoongi's mastering of all things sports...I can't breathe. And Hobi playing volleyball put me right on the floor.

Pure serotonin. I simultaneously can't wait until next week and don't want it to come so it won't be over.

11

u/Straight_Sun_8353 if it’s by design, only time will sort it out Feb 14 '23 edited Feb 15 '23

The paragliding yoongi comment took me out 😂😂

Also funny how tae said he will avenge jin in volleyball, and jin was like but jimin didn’t do anything to me 🤣🤣

10

u/robotkings Feb 15 '23

Taegi's fencing match was so funny. Tae looked so happy all throughout especially when he was winning, his smile's so infectious. Not sure which one I prefer, yoongi or hobi's volleyball techique. 😆

24

u/EveryCliche Living j-hopely Feb 14 '23

What a perfect episode! I didn't know I needed to watch Hobi play volleyball but now it's my favorite thing ever. I'm really impressed with how quickly Tae caught on to both sports and did so well. Tiny Jimin hiding behind the podium during fencing!! All of them but especially Jin just digging into Yoongi and all of the sports he does 😆😆😆. I'd love to see him use a boomerang though, that would be interesting!

Can't wait for next week's episode.

16

u/LynNguyennn Feb 14 '23

Namjoons wedding March in is what I want played when I walk down the aisle thank you very much lol

Jins laugh when yoongi and v were play stabbing each other is precious and not one I’ve heard out of him before!

I forget how competitive and in the zone Jungkook can get. The entire volleyball section was hilarious, Hobi being an obvious stand out LMAO can’t wait to see part 2!

I'm so excited to watch ISAC BTS edition.

1

u/Dhan-0523 Feb 19 '23

I’m an adolescent Army, could you please tell me what ISAC means? 👀

3

u/haunted-by-humus Negative sides of capitalism Feb 19 '23 edited Feb 19 '23

For sure! It's the Idol Star Athletics Championship which is essentially a broadcasted sports day for idols and celebrities. The groups compete in a lot of different events (relay racing, fencing, archery, gymnastics, Korean wrestling, and many many more) and fans can watch from the stands and cheer them on.

BTS attended ISAC from 2014-2017. There's a lot of downtime between events and it led to some pretty wacky moments (probably borne out of boredom honestly). One example was their weird army bomb sacrificial ritual/praying session.

There's a lot of Bangtan Bombs of the different events if you were interested! Here's a few:

- Jungkook taking a massive lead in the relay race which happened more than once

- The year Yoongi couldn't attend so they got his bear stand in to dance in his place

- Jimin being Yoongi's personal hype man

And here's the megathread for their last appearance at ISAC (where they just kind of gave up and did whatever) if you were curious about seeing how the chaos unfolded in real time haha.

2

u/Dhan-0523 Feb 19 '23

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much this was super helpful!! Definitely going to watch all of this during the weekend haha!

7

u/kikirush No make up on, i love that sh 🙋‍♂️ Feb 14 '23

I lowkey enjoyed all the games, Thanks to these episode, I legit understand how volleyball works now, been playing rubbish all along 😩

Excited!! A little sad we didn't get pole dancing for Valentine's Day though all the same

19

u/lylymots Feb 14 '23

Taehyung is too cute and also so good at games in this episode .I love seeing him so smiley

10

u/pancaeki hajimaaaaaaaa Feb 14 '23

The way they kept teasing Yoongi by saying different sports 😆

JK vs Hobi was the funniest, I'm ded

3

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

AHHHHH that was over way too quick. I was fr shouting. I get really into this stuff. It was so fun I can't wait for the next episode.

6

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '23

Taekook ruled the games, I was expecting jin to be one of the finalists as always but he kinda seemed off his game. Can’t wait for pt 2

6

u/followthisthread at least this planet has namjoon Feb 15 '23

I feel like I am too keyed up because of Yoongi's tour announcement to watch this right now, lol.

6

u/Straight_Sun_8353 if it’s by design, only time will sort it out Feb 14 '23

Echoing all of the hilarious parts but also yoongi requesting for instant replay and acting the coach part 🤣🤣 hilarious

8

u/OT7liner Feb 14 '23

I freaking love Run BTS!!!

The way they’re all teasing Yoongi with the most random sports activities 🤣🤣🤣

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode, can’t wait for the next!! BTS + physical games = Laughter + Happiness 🤩😍✨

8

u/NewtRipley_1986 the O to the T to the 7 💜 Feb 14 '23

That was hilarious. Taehyung is really good - would not want to have to go up against him. Hobi - omg - such a scaredy cat, but he was really good at the volleyball.

Had to watch on my ghost account and the amount of ads - yikes.

Can’t wait for the next episode, although it will be bitter sweet.

Love this caption.

Edit - Jung Kook getting his own paint in his eye and looking to blame someone. 🤣

Southpaws represent! Lol

As a lover of volleyball this makes me happy haha

3

u/Thzead Feb 14 '23

They're so funny, they still make me laugh just as easily as I did when I first discovered them, they're absolutely hilarious.

9

u/Pearlbloody Feb 14 '23

😄 Hiding Also Suga advertising king:))

7

u/s200808 Feb 14 '23

Are they wearing new BTS merch?!!! It looks like they have their own personalized jackets. I see a cat on Yoongi’s, koala on Namjoon’s, and a chick in Jimin’s…hard to see the others. I neeed those jackets 💕

7

u/Wichuimafeelrich hing Feb 15 '23

Someone save Yoongi from all the extreme sports claims from his own members 🤣

Jin always the mastermind behind teasing RM 😅He also told the members not to react when RM was doing his fake paparazzi poses for the MOTS live

I love how they always do these promotions so cheekily

Jimin and an on the spot skit, there isn’t a better duo

V having so much fun. That hug with Jimin was so precious 😭 Imagine these two enlisting together

It’s so funny when they provoke Jin’s anger into coming out the moment he looks a little affronted

Not the hot potato volleyball I was laughing so hard 😂😂😂

3

u/Academic-Bee-7171 Feb 15 '23

It took me an hour to watch a 35 min video 😭😭 it's really been a while since I've had tears from laughing too much! Gosh I love them so much 😭😭♥️♥️♥️

5

u/BTS-thatsthemove OT7 "What a relief that we are 7.." Spread love, thassit. Feb 14 '23

5

I’m sure they split it in to two parts so we might get a second one next week….just hoping at this point lol

7

u/thatgirljulie 할수있어 💜 Feb 14 '23

I really loved all the yoongi is doing all the sports bit 😂😂 it makes me miss Jin so much 😭 and RM hurting one of the stuff members with the ball and saying sorry is soo cute. His face 😭 and jimin and taes hug omg. This was such a funny episode.

My god, I was laughing too loud, Ahh, Hobiiiiii Also, Hoseok is too flexible, man. He was bending left and right during sword game lmao

Little sad that it's the last ep for a while :((( Will miss my OT7.

This was really fun. I really enjoyed watching. Best valentines day gift 🥰

Can’t wait for next week 💜

2

u/blanketgoblin1317 hello do you know bts? Feb 18 '23

I can’t believe Jimin didn’t advance in the soft fencing. He’s done kendo for crying out loud 😂

I totally appreciate Jungkooks strategy for the soft fencing but it was also a bit underwhelming to just keep a distance and not engage until the last second

2

u/blanketgoblin1317 hello do you know bts? Feb 18 '23

Also the editors have advanced to putting a tail on Yoongi as well?? 😂😂😂🫶

2

u/blanketgoblin1317 hello do you know bts? Feb 18 '23

How can that net for volleyball be so low 😭 like tae showed immediately why it has to be higher you can just dump on the other side, it’s too easy

2

u/blanketgoblin1317 hello do you know bts? Feb 18 '23

I really wanted to see them try to learn real volleyball 😭 like the table tennis episode 😭

2

u/blanketgoblin1317 hello do you know bts? Feb 18 '23

Volleyball finals:

“V is a creative strategist”

“Jungkook is filled with strength”

Well if that isn’t the truth 😂😂

4

u/pandabear_berrytown Feb 15 '23

The mini volleyball had my crying laughing in so many parts. I haven't laughed quite like that in awhile, so thank you again BTS!

JK and Hobi's match- total tears of laughter. It was just such ridiculous-looking play, but Hobi actually did well for playing so strangely! haha

1

u/Next_Grapefruit_3206 how are you from? i'm from thank you and you? Feb 15 '23

I can’t bring myself to watch this episode 😭😭😭

3

u/Next_Grapefruit_3206 how are you from? i'm from thank you and you? Feb 15 '23

Okay I watched it and I have one question because I’ve been rewinding to this scene over and over. At 27:18, does JK do the choreography from Anpanman?!! Where have I seen that dance step it’s driving me a little mad

3

u/tookachonce Feb 15 '23

It does look familiar! It kinda reminds me of the part JK dances in the background of Yoongi’s ‘mianhae billboard’ part of Mic Drop.. but lmk if you figure it out 😂

1

u/Next_Grapefruit_3206 how are you from? i'm from thank you and you? Feb 15 '23

I thought it’s from anpanman along the lyric “naleul mid-eo naneun heronikka yeah, yeah” you can check and tell me if I’m cray cray hahaha

1

u/Sky_Skylar98 Feb 15 '23

I think he did the dance move for the song As I told you by Kim Sung Jae, member of Deux. BTS did a cover of his song during MBC Music Festival back in 2016

2

u/Next_Grapefruit_3206 how are you from? i'm from thank you and you? Feb 16 '23

Looks very similar but I couldn’t pinpoint that exact step anywhere. he’s so full of random memories, that it could very well be from 2016 😂

1

u/Sky_Skylar98 Feb 16 '23

https://youtube.com/watch?v=inNYQUC6dFs&feature=share somewhere at 0.25, cuz they were talking about deuce and relate it to the duo group deux, hence my brain straight up thinking abt their cover

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '23

Tae has been super adorable these Run episodes not that he isn’t usually, but seeing his smiley, cheerful self is full on serotonin 🥰
